A quaint hotel in an idyllic village. The room was a good size, well equipped, and I particularly liked the water machine on the wall. Fantastic customer service, although staff didn’t speak English, they were able to assist me. Icing on the cake was when they brought around a bowl of red bean soup and then came again to give moon cake and some jelly. A plate of fruit was also left in my room. Excellent location, right in the heart of the village. Only negatives are they don’t have knives and forks available during breakfast and the hot spring pools were quite small. However, overall it’s a fantastic boutique style hotel.

The room is clean and tidy. The loft room is nice and large, but it feels a bit stuffy sleeping upstairs. The hotel environment is average and relatively small. There are very few people going there during the week. It is very quiet. There are three public hot springs in total, and the service is very thoughtful. The water is freshly poured and very clean.
The hotel breakfast is generally less varied. It is more cost-effective to order group purchases at the restaurant, and the dishes taste good.
There is nothing to do around the hotel, only a firefly playground, which is not cost-effective. The Shijing is very small and can be visited in an hour.
