My wife and I came here for our first anniversary and it was worth every dollar spent. The hotel was gorgeous and super clean. Our room was decorated with rose petals spelling out “1 year” on the bed and a trail of petals to the personal hot spring tub. The bathroom has two sink basins with tall mirrors. The shower is a rainfall shower. The toilet has a glass door which was a little weird but the bathroom had a solid wooden door.
Cleaning staff comes every day at a time that works for you to sanitize and organize everything. The mini fridge comes packed with a variety of drinks that are refilled for free every day. We were given a rotating plate of fresh fruits every day. At night time, they provide good night soup and turn on the personal hot spring tub.
During the day, you can visit the outdoor hot spring in a secluded area. The minerals in the hot springs made our skin so soft and healthy looking. We did a spa treatment too which was very relaxing. They were very accommodating with finding a time that worked best for us.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Mostly Chinese breakfast with many delicious dishes to choose from. The restaurant was in a different building on the Huaqing Palace grounds. Easy to walk to but they also can drive us in a kart to and from it. You can also come and go to the Huaqing Palace grounds too!
The staff was very friendly and accommodating even with a language barrier. They helped us arrange laundry services to be delivered to our room. They went and picked up our tickets to the Song of Everlasting Sorrow (great show). The housekeeper, Deng Xiaohui, was wonderful and gave us parting gifts when we checked out.
5/5. Highly recommend. We hope to be back next time we visit Xi’an.

All the staff of hotel was most supportive and interested in our feeling well and comfortable. The concierge, the drivers of the internal bus, the room maid and the waiters in the restaurant. The room was not only clean but extremely pleasant. The room pool was something out of this world, we loved it. The food in the restaurant was exquisite, both the breakfast and the main courses. The concierge went out of his way to help us attend the show “Everlasting Sorrow”. The show was exceptionally beautiful and actually a must to see. I would not hesitate to see it a second time.
The entire resort is extremely well designed. The hotel itself with its art, the choice of colors make it something special and outstanding.
I will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and return should the opportunity arises.
One little criticism: the light installation in the room are a bit complicated and not intuitive. A leaflet explaining the various buttons, including the air conditioner would help.

We had a great time at Huaqing Yutang Resort. It is located inside of Huaqing palace and we could have scenic walks anytime during our stay. But there's also very convenient shuttle service within hotel and part of the palace. The hotel staffs were very friendly and service oriented, especially at the restaurant the Ms. 李梅 thoughtfully suggested to pack some bread for us as we were in a hurry and didn't have much time for breakfast. Also the concierge Mr. 天龙 was very helpful carrying our luggage and giving is advices visiting the Li Shan.
One highlight of our stay was the in room hot spring (natural). Our bathtub was filled automatically everyday from 7 p.m. The staff took care of cleaning the bathtub every evening. It was in gerneral very relaxing.
The breakfast had a healthy combination of fruit, side and rice dishes, and even had a cook who prepare dishes on demand. The restaurant also provides dinner on a high Level (highly recommend: the panda cake, Kaki cake)

Service by hotels staff were excellent. From housekeeping to front desk all was superb. Being served like VIP. For Chang Hen Ge tickets, the got us seats with excellent view, right in the centre. They even prepared snow fungus pear dessert for winding down, it was delicious . Love the tea they served here. For private hot spring, they will disinfect the tub and later fill up with hot spring water. All in all very satisfied with our stay. The only thing they need to add is towel hook at the bathroom to hang towels.

The service was amazing, with the staff helping me with my bags as well as explaining how to use any of the amenities offered, being consistently patient despite by subpar Mandarin. The actual site itself is picturesque and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful - a perfect atmosphere for a hot spring hotel! I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the larger hot spring pool, but the small private one I had access to was stellar and very soothing! I’d highly recommend to anyone in the Xi’an area.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, especially with the private access to Hua Qing Palace.
Our hotel package includes the Song of Everlasting Regret performance, and it was absolutely worth it. The package included excellent seats that provided an optimal view of the performance, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning visuals and captivating storytelling. It made for a truly unforgettable evening.

Services:
The hotel arrival experience was average; some staff members were friendly, while others came across as quite stern. The person who assisted with my luggage seemed a bit unfriendly, which made me hesitant to ask him any questions. The rest of the staff were generally fine, though. I appreciated the birthday cake and the decorations in my room, which certainly added to the experience. However, the overall warmth and hospitality from the staff were lacking. One moment that I found slightly insulting was when a staff member asked me if I had taken their hotel room pouch while I was waiting for my taxi to my next hotel. It felt as though they suspected me of theft. Additionally, the hotel did not provide basic amenities like a toothbrush and shower caps, and I was too fatigued from jet lag to request them. Fortunately, I had packed my own toothbrush.
Restaurant:
The restaurant staff provided a much better service than the hotel staff. They were polite and accommodating, in contrast to the person who assisted me with my luggage and drove the golf cart. His tone was quite off-putting, making him seem unapproachable and even confrontational at times.
Facilities:
The bathroom was somewhat dated, with some corners showing signs of mold. The room itself was a bit dimly lit.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the private onsen and the performance of "长恨歌!" 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Conclusion:
The money spent was well worth it for the private onsen and the VIP tickets to the "长恨歌" show! It was truly a fantastic experience and well worth seeing.
