After staying at Qishang Hotel, I found that there were no rooms with a real sea view, and the price of the suite was a bit too expensive. I needed a separate office area for video conferencing, so I decided to find a hotel with a more suitable location and more generous rooms. I found that this hotel has good reviews, and there are also suites with sea views, and the most important thing is that the price is also very satisfactory. I stayed for two days and was very satisfied. It can be said that the price-performance ratio is full.
The location of the hotel is very successful. The room type I chose has a sea view and faces the Little Kinmen Island. The check-in process was very fast. The staff assisted with luggage and introduced the room facilities and learned about the check-in requirements by the way. The service was very thoughtful.
The room was a suite, which was large enough. The long room type can clearly separate the layout of each room, which is generally reasonable. In particular, the balcony outside is large enough to make a separate outdoor room. The only drawback is that it is too spacious. It feels that such a large area is not used. It’s a pity.
The breakfast is quite rich, and there are many local specialties in southern Fujian to taste. All kinds of food are also delicious. The meals are mainly Chinese, and there are no Western tableware on the table; there is no one to guide you into the restaurant, you swipe your card and find a seat at random, and you make your own coffee. There are very few service staff, so this may not fully meet the standards of a five-star hotel, but considering that the room rate is very friendly, this small shortcoming does not matter.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay. Especially after just coming from Qishang Hotel, I didn't expect that a hotel that is almost three times cheaper can provide the same level of service, more comfortable rooms, and a more abundant breakfast. It is very real, so the consumption is also worth it.

I stayed in International Conference centre Hotel one night with my kids. I feel very warm and comfortable and I like this hotel. Great location, great reception, great room service, great breakfast, great welcome security! I feel that the management of the hotel is very good and the staff service is very good. I don't know their names, but I remember their smiles and enthusiasm. I have to wash clothes every day because I take care of my children. Every time I have trouble the room attendants to run around. But they are always smiling and warm service. I have lived on the 19th floors. I know Tim, Eric and Edwin, and two other people who do not know their names. Thank them very much! We had a lot of luggage, so it was very difficult to get in and get out. They were very patient. They helped us take the luggage upstairs when they saw a lot of luggage. A girl, who was very nice, and Miss Zhang, who was a guest of honor, saw that we had too much luggage on the taxi. It solved our big problem and made us very touched! Thank you, Miss Zhang! The facilities are very old, and the cabinets, doors and furniture inside seem to have not been replaced for more than 20 years. The door didn't even lock, there was no/very little hot water, and it wasn't hot enough, so I didn't take a shower that night. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in is definitely the Pound Sterling. I do not recommend this hotel at all. This time, because I was the only one staying there, I could deduct all my Ctrip points. I originally paid over 100 yuan a night, but ended up paying over 60 yuan. After entering the room, I wanted to check out immediately, thinking that I would only stay for one night and then leave, and I would never stay again.
Apart from being close to a subway station (Lingdou), there are no other facilities nearby. There is a convenience store below the hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to a slightly larger shopping mall, but there are not many people there. Breakfast was included but it was just the basics. I can't eat it either. Anyway, it’s much better to stay in some newer chain hotels/B&Bs than here. This house is really not worth living in.

The hotel is close to Gaoqi International Airport and accessible within 15 mins by car. There is a station just outside the hotel and an underground shopping link with a huge supermarket in it. The hotel amenities are well-equipped but the breakfast is not very fascinating and quite pricey (not recommendable). For non-smokers, this hotel might not be desirable as all rooms at all floors allow smoking. I feedback about the smoky smell in the room and corridor to the front desk staff but they were helpless with the situation and could not help. The housekeeping staff was very polite and clean the room very thoroughly. The hotel has robot to help to deliver food and drinks to the room.

We booked a hotel for two nights on Ctrip. The price was relatively cheap, but it included two breakfasts for two people. However, there was no breakfast one day. Since the hotel is not located in the city center and is quite remote, when checking in, I asked the front desk if they could provide two breakfasts on the last day? The staff said I had to apply, but on the third morning, they didn't tell me the result of the application. It turns out that this is the kind of service that five-star hotel provides. If you tell me that there is no free breakfast, I can buy it at my own expense. This is a problem of the manager and the staff's lack of attention to quality. The guest's inquiry can be left unresolved. In addition, the temperature in the room was 25.5 degrees, which was a bit stuffy, and the air-conditioning temperature could not be controlled manually; when I called, the staff said that the temperature could be controlled by ourselves after 10 pm! But at ten o'clock that night, they said that the temperature of the central air conditioning could not be changed. It's really inconsistent with what I said before, this is five-star service. In the end, they gave us a five-star hotel fan, which is not bad. Thirdly, the design of the toilet door is problematic, affecting entry and exit, and making it inconvenient to use the toilet. It keeps closing and closing, which is really disappointing. The best thing is, the king bed is very comfortable, very comfy! All in all, the price is reasonable, but the five-star hotel service is not worth it, so a lot of points were deducted. This is well-intentioned advice. I have spent so much time writing this review with no ill intention. I just hope you can make progress. Because society needs to move forward, your service cannot lag behind other hotels. I am a guest, and since you are a five-star hotel, you should provide relatively high-quality services. The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment. If I book a room next time, I apologize and say that I will not consider your hotel accommodation again.

Location-wise, it's very strategic and convenient. The hotel is well-connected to different modes of transportation, with the subway being the most efficient. The nearest station (Jiangtou Station, Line 2) is just 300 meters away, while Xiamen Railway Station is roughly 7km from the hotel.
For shopping lovers, SM City Plaza Xiamen—a massive shopping mall complex—is only 2km away or just two subway stops from here.
Overall, this hotel is definitely worth recommending!

The room was clean and the waiters were polite and friendly. The breakfast was average and not much choice. The location is very strategic, just across the road to Vientiane City, and there are many places to eat nearby. It would be better if there are cabinets and buckets in the room to store personal items. It is inconvenient without a refrigerator. However, having a laundry room is a plus.

The place is perfect for me as it is conveniently near a subway station as well as at the nearest bus stop. It is also near to several eateries. The front desk helped me even though I was a foreigner. Actually, I checked-in at the hotel although I was aware that they prefer Chinese speaking clients (as can be inferred based on the hotel policy as posted at Trip.com)

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

DDavis LimUpon check in, Manager Andy was at the reception and offered an upgrade when he saw that I was with my eighty years old mother and children.
He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be.
The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view.
Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day.
I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay.
Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room.
Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

RRam KondaAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

AAnonymous UserCheck in time supposed to be 3pm and I requested the room not to be near the lift or the last room. But by 3pm, the room is not ready although I had register the check in at 1pm. By 3.20pm, the got me a room that is right beside the lift (ignore my request which I had reminded them twice).
Order for room service and told the front desk to clear it out around 6pm when I went out. But the dirty plates and leftover food is still there when I return to the room around 11pm
Staff at the front desk is not attentive and the staff said will get the manager to contact me regarding the missing food for the room service but there’s no one contact me since 30 October
Location wise is good, room is clean but service wise nah

GGuest UserWhen I write a review, I always put in perspective the price I can paying for and it's competitiness in the country.
1. Cleanliness is good. Housekeeper is friendly and accommodating.
2. Hail a car from airport to hotel cost about Sgd5 and less than Sgd5 from hotel to airport for me. Actual will depend on your App and cars you pick.
3. Hotel location is impeccable with the starting point of Zhongshan Road right below the Hotel.
4. Staff is helpful and friendly.
5. Breakfast is decent for the price. The range is not extensive, but one has to look at the price you are paying for. Coffee maker at Libby makes freshly brewed coffee.
6. There is a little gym for simple workout.
Overall, it is a satisfactory experience and I have no complaints.

The warm and considerate service makes you feel at home. The hotel has an independent parking lot, the breakfast is also good, and the hotel is conveniently located for travel. Their staffs were very responsive and helpful. Especially one of the front desk staff, Cameron. He doesn’t have a friendly face but he was very attentive to details and try his best to go the extra miles to make sure our stay is comfortable. 👍

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
