Nice hostel although not near anything. Staff are helpful. Pool table and comfortable lounge. But beers are overpriced.

Toilet water stuck on floor and dirty . Price not reasonable compare with other hotel . Location far in city area and not more store

Pros: Good location. Close to restaurants and shopping mall. Staff speaks English and helpful. He helped me to arrange a trip to Qinghaihu with a reasonable price.
Cons: bathrooms are dirty. Toilet doesn’t flush. There is no toilet tissue. Shower doesn’t drain properly. The whole shower floods after a shower.

Very affordable place to stay in Xining. Very friendly owners too. The only cons are the cleanliness of the place, especially the toilets. No basic toiletries provided - no toilet paper, shower gel or towels provided.

We loved our stay at He Huang Memory Hostel. The owners are all very nice and accommodating. The hostel has an awesome chill out area with good vibes. We stayed an extra night as we found it such a good place to chill out. Has hot water, washing machine, drinking water, microwave, kitchen, pool table and anything else you could think of or need! Also a cute cat! Would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in Xining!

The staff is very friendly and always helpful and the atmosphere in the shared room is amazing. Moreover it is one of the cleanest Hostels I have stayed in so far.

The hostel is fancy and staff so nice. The bed is soft and clean, but toilet a little smell of urine. The room is big and comfortable with a sofa, a desk to work or read book. Good place to meet up new people
