The hotel has nice onsen with great view of starry sky at night, the view to Mount Fuji is also great. However, the hotel wing that we stayed are a bit too old and the bathroom is small.

The hotel is adjacent to Lake Yamanaka, and there are direct buses from Shinjuku and Gotemba. Each room is a trailer, and some rooms face Mount Fuji. Although it is partially blocked, the overall environment is very good, with a bathtub, a sauna, and firewood and charcoal for barbecue, which is a great experience.
This hotel is completely self-service, including check-in procedures. You check in at the machine by filling in the 6-digit number obtained by the reservation, and then the machine will tell you the designated room and door lock password. I booked it on Ctrip Business Travel, but the order did not give me this 6-digit number, so I couldn't check in on site. Later, I called the hotel and communicated for a long time. The hotel sent a guy to help me complete the check-in. It is recommended that Ctrip report this problem to the supplier and solve it.
The bath temperature was low and it was cold. It was cold, like washing your face in the morning with water from the kitchen outside. I wish there was hot water.... Not even a single thank you when I left.
Arrived at night, so it was a little challenging to find the location even with Google maps. Transportation did not seem convenient but we had a rental car (which I think was necessary) so we could move around the sights. The hotel manager was super polite and helpful. Kept the place very clean and tidy. Very well organised. Be also served a a packet breakfast everyday at the dining area. The bathroom was a shared japanese style bath but it was private if you locked it when in use. Overall, it was a great stay
We stayed here for a short time and enjoyed the best moments in the mountains and lakes, and Mount Fuji was beautiful anytime in the morning, afternoon and evening. The private soup opportunity provided is also very good, and you can go to the terrace to see the stars at night.
The tatami room is also much larger than the hotel in the city. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious. There are also many restaurants around.
Like its name, we just got here with a lot of wild fawns :)
Good value for money, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the location is equivalent to a villa complex in the suburbs of China, there are few people and it is quiet, it is very suitable for people who like to travel on two legs and families who drive here. The hostess is great, she answered all my questions and taught me how to sort garbage. I stayed there for one night and then climbed Mount Fuji. I climbed to the top on my birthday and came back to stay. I came down the mountain to catch the bus very late and didn’t have time to eat. My feet couldn’t walk anymore. The hostess saw that I was alone and helped me cook a bowl of birthday longevity noodles in the middle of the night. It was so warm. By the way, I like the layout of the public area! Nnori666Both boss and staff are very friendly, helped us to carry our luggages to room, which is spacious and comfy, with all sorts of amenities we needed(like winter heater, towel, toothbrush, kettle & hair dryer, etc). Check in and check out are easy and fast, all staff able to communicate in Mandarin and English. The bathroom(public use but split into men & women room) is quite clean, with built in 'onsen' and provided skincare for after bath use. There is a canteen here, simple menu were provided, taste not bad, like home-cooked food. Microwave is provided too so no worries if you want to reheat the food bought from outside. The ambient of the accommodation is quiet and peaceful. The day we reached is snowing, so the view from our room is fantastic, you can see snow outside window. Although it's a shame that Mt. Fuji hid from us due to the snowy weather...
There are some convenient stores, a supermarket and coin laundry near the accommodation. And it's really near to Lake Yamanakako so the view around is really scenic. It's also near a famous onsen place called 'Benifuji' too. Overall a worth for money place to stay at! would come again if have the chance. Would recommend this accommodation!
吃吃喝玩樂我至叻First luxury camping experience, highly recommended!
Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna.
The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average.
We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket.
Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children!
In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~
Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~
Will come again if I have the chance!
SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
GGuest UserI took my mother out to play and chose Yamanakako specifically. There were few people and it was quiet to see the red leaves. I stayed for two nights and slept until I woke up naturally. The environment was very good and I could walk out to see the red leaves festival.
The transportation was very convenient. I rented a bicycle from the boss. I rode to Yamanakako on the first day, took the bus to Kawaguchiko at the door on the second day, and continued to ride. On the third day, I rode to Oshino Hakkai. 😃
I was too lazy to go to Gotemba, but it was also very convenient after looking at the map. In the evening, I ate the boss's recommended Shoya and the boss's beef hot pot. The boss's wife was very enthusiastic and honest. Next time I bring my baby here to stay and continue to ride a bike. 😃😃
GGuest UserAn experience beyond expectations! Better than all other hotels I've stayed in Tokyo! The hotel is right next to Yamanakako Asahigaoka Station (highwaybus Shinjuku to Yamanakako Asahigaoka direct), just a few steps away with your luggage. The boss is very humorous and cheerful, can communicate in English, and the employees are also very enthusiastic. Yamanakako Asahigaoka is a station where most tourists don't stay overnight. The actual experience is much better than Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako Plain. It is a station for kaba amphibious vehicles, and there are souvenir shops and post offices next to it. The hotel is Japanese tatami, and you need to make your own bed (very simple). The hotel has a Japanese public bath to experience, and the hotel will provide free bath towels and Japanese bathrobes. As a southerner, I haven't experienced a large bath in China, but when I went there, the public bath became a private bath directly because there were few people, and the water was also very clean, sweeping away all my previous concerns. If you don't want to go to the bathhouse, there is also a private bathroom in the hotel room. Dinner is a curry in the shape of Mount Fuji, which is very delicious. It's only 500 yen per person. While eating, the boss was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us take photos. Breakfast is a choice of raw egg rice or tea rice, with miso soup and coffee. There is a 711 200 meters away from the hotel. You can use the microwave and disposable chopsticks in the corridor of the hotel after buying supper. The main door will be locked from 23:00 to 6:00, but there is a small door next to it for entry and exit, so it is completely fine if you want to watch the sunrise. I have never written a review on Ctrip, but I was really satisfied and happy this time. When I left, I wrote a thank-you card to the hotel. It has become a tap water haha 😄
NNguyenthi vyIt's a great location, have lake view and Mt Fuji from my room window..the room is very large bed comfort we have a very good night sleep and breakfast is perfect.High recommend going back here for next trip
GGuest UserThe best location to see Mount Fuji. Rooms 102 and 101 are facing Mount Fuji. The living room and dining room are downstairs, and there are two rooms upstairs. Although there are five beds that can accommodate 10 people, one bed is in the attic, which is very inconvenient. There is only one bathroom on the second floor, so it is best for 4 people. However, the view from the room is so good that the 5 of us were very happy to stay there. The hygiene is good and the facilities are very complete. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and there are convenience stores and small restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.
AAnonymous UserFuji Matsuzono Hotel offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the onsen is a relaxing highlight after a day of exploring. With friendly staff and a convenient location near Lake Kawaguchi, it’s ideal for a tranquil getaway.
Kky917The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car.
The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨
The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆
6666manfenTake the bus from Shinjuku to Hirano Station and walk for three minutes to the hotel. The actual experience is better than expected. The location is high and clean, facing the lake of Hirano Beach. It is the first choice for those who do not pursue luxury. It has everything you need. There is also a bathing pool, heating in the room, public toilets for washing and bathing, and a simple restaurant and 711 nearby. This hotel provides free bicycles for us to ride. A round trip takes about three hours, but the best view is to ride from Hirano Beach to Nagaike Water Park in an hour. It is very beautiful to ride and see Mount Fuji. It is very close. There is a very beautiful plank road for a round trip. You don’t need to rent a car. The best experience is to ride a bicycle. I got up at six o’clock and saw the pink Mount Fuji. The hotel is managed by an elderly person and there is a family-like son who runs it together. Finally, a suggestion is provided. Slippers can only be worn barefoot with socks. It is easy to slip. The stairs are high and not suitable for the elderly. The price is right and the experience is good. I recommend it. The photos taken after checking out are messy, but it does not affect the experience!
The average price for hotels in Yamanakako is AED 1,062 on weekdays, and AED 1,190 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
