We stayed for two nights and cannot fault this ryokan. A mother and son were running the ryokan and they were very friendly and helpful. The room was a twin and had everything we needed. The room was large with a bedroom area and separate sitting area with tatami flooring. The bathroom and separate toilet were a little small but it was not an issue for us as we used the private onsen each day of our stay. A hakuta is provided and the onsen was relaxing. There is parking outside. The location is about 10 minutes walk away from the railway station. We had dinner at the ryokan the second night and the set Japanese dinner was excellent. They catered for my vegetarian diet. Be sure to give them 24 hours notice if you want to dine there so they can buy the ingredients, as everything is made freshly. This ryokan is authetic and there were other Japanese guests staying while we were there. We recommend this ryokan as a place to stay.

I stayed here for one night in November last year. It was a small and cozy inn where you could feel the warmth of a home and feel like you could reach your itchy spots. Above all, I was left with a good impression of how polite and polite the proprietress and other employees were. The inside of the hotel is well maintained and the rooms are larger and more comfortable than I expected. I am very satisfied with the contents of the dinner. The menu continued to use local ingredients, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the flavors of Hokushin. The bath was a bit hot and it was difficult to take a bath, but once I got used to it, I realized that the water was really good, and the quality of the hot water was good. Although my stay was only one night, I took a bath a total of five times. If I want to take a bath, eat, and be healed by the employees, I would like to visit Hokushin again.
