With sincere smiles on their faces, they greeted us and quickly helped carry the luggage and guided us to the front desk. Xiao Zhang, the receptionist at the front desk, was even more impressive. without making us feel irritable about waiting. The room service of the resort is unique. When we open the door, the clean and warm environment suddenly greeted. The bed is soft and comfortable, the sheets are as white as snow and send out a faint fragrance, each fold seems to tell the heart of the staff. The facilities in the room are complete, and the layout is reasonable, from convenient charging sockets to exquisite toiletries, all take into account the needs of the guests. Every day the room cleaning is extremely meticulous, Tong Beibei housekeeper not only arranges the room in good order, but also considerate according to the use habits of the guests. Once we accidentally left a piece of clothes in the bathroom, and when we came back, we found that it had been neatly stacked on the bed, deeply touching the attention to the details and the respect for the guests' belongings. When it comes to catering service, it is a feast for taste buds. The waiters are like the messengers of food, knowing the menu and can recommend the right dishes according to our taste preferences. Whether it is the hearty buffet for breakfast, or the exquisite dishes of the meal, each food shows the superb skill of the chef.The ingredients are fresh, the cooking is just right, and the taste retains both local characteristics and innovative elements. In the process of dining, the waiter can always appear in time when we need it, to add drinks and change the tableware for us, but it will not disturb us too much, so that we can enjoy the pleasure brought by the food. When we feel a little tired in the hot spring, they will carefully ask us about our feelings and suggest that we take a proper rest. Location is the big plus.  Within the compound there's hot spring baths, historical sites, multiple restaurants (some needing 2 weeks advance reservation).  The only downside, which can't usually be avoided in China's locally managed hotels, is that the habits of people using rest rooms / importance of toilet paper refill is different from what some foreigners are used to. Still, overall I'll give it 4.6 stars given the variety and historical significance of some of the sites within the compound.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and can anticipate your every need. The room is very comfortable. No noise, great bedding, nice bathtub, and good curtains. Coffee and fruit are provided. The location is convenient to get a taxi. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The only improvement is to clean a little better. There are some marks on the glass doors in the bathroom. The bedding and towels are very clean. Just these small points.

The room on the first day was not very good, so I paid extra to upgrade the room. The hotel listened to my feedback and improved the service. The new room is very large, with a lake view, a water bar, a capsule coffee machine, and a lot of water for me. The sanitation is also in place. Yangzhou Shangri-La is next to the Yangzhou Museum. It is good to stay here for self-driving tours, and parking is also convenient. If you are not driving, it is a bit remote to go to the attractions in the old city. The breakfast is a little inferior to Shangri-La in other cities. Maybe it is because there are too many people during the Spring Festival. There are too many people, and many things are gone as soon as they come out.

Overall a good hotel with a nice swimming pool. Only downsides were that it wasn't possible to turn on the fridge and the view was a little disappointing (considering the is hotel located right next to a lake)

The hotel was excellent, great location and less than 10 mins walking distance to Gong Guan street which we spend most of our nights there. The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly, there is actually washing machines/dryer at Level 6 for guest to use at no cost and the cleaner aunties will help to put your laundy to drier , fold and send to your room. Service is really next level. 1 of staff (小 书) extremely helpful and sharing alot of travel info regarding places to visit and locations to get some of best local foods. hotel Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended to stay if you are visiting Yang Zhou

The Blossom House is clean, stylishly furnished throughout, and very well run, by efficient staff who offered a genuinely caring service which made us feel at home. It is conveniently located in a quiet corner of a large, up market compound with many eateries, pubs and even a Starbucks that opens till 10pm, and is situated by the Slender Lake which is picturesque beyond words. In early summer the air was always so fresh and we could hear the birds sing on the balcony in the morning. The hotel also has a well equipped 24-hour self-service laundry room which is especially convenient to us. Special thanks to Emma and her team who have looked after us very well, always with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. Yangzhou is a beautiful historic city which is relatively unspoiled. It is very rich in culture and the locals are nice and friendly. This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. We shall return to this wonderful city and hotel!

Travel with partner and parents, they loved the place and friendly welcomed by 柚子, the receptionist at the front desk. Perfect location for tourists.

The hotel has good service and good breakfast with so many options to choose from. The staff was also nice and managed to assist me with check-in as I arrived at the hotel too early. I'd definitely visit this hotel again in the future.
