I usually use Hongju Building, but I booked this hotel because it was newly opened. Usually, when I stay at a hotel, I have a meeting with guests at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, so I called the front desk to ask if there was a large restaurant, but they said there was only a buffet restaurant on the first floor, so I had to use the Chinese restaurant in Hongju Building, which was inconvenient. On the day of check-in, there was an unpleasant smell and several people were welding in front of the elevator, which made me feel bad, but the hotel did not ask for any understanding. When I checked in, I was given a room on the 5th floor, but they gave me a room with a view of a cement wall, which I was surprised to see. Since there were ventilation facilities outside the room, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. I complained, but the front desk told me to wait because there were no rooms. In the end, I got an upgrade and moved to a different room, but if they had apologized and upgraded me instead of telling me to wait from the beginning, it would have been better for both of us. Construction was underway here and there in the hotel, so it was messy, and there were no service staff except for the doorman. In the case of Hongjwi, there are two doormen and two people on the inside to greet guests, and the check-in staff also greet guests when they come in, but this hotel only had one doorman diligently greeting them and there was no staff to manage the hall. So there was an egg shell on the sofa by the door that someone had eaten and no one cleaned it up. The facilities looked great, but it felt like it wasn't being managed, and the room I was assigned had a clean interior, but there were holes in the floor from cigarettes and food spills here and there. The table in the room looked like granite, but food was spilled on the table, and the granite absorbed the water, leaving a dirty mark the size of a person's head on the table, making it look like a new hotel. The carpet was so dusty that it would have been better to clean it up. As a regular visitor to Yanbian, I made a reservation with high expectations for a new hotel, but I was disappointed and checked out. All I remember is one friendly doorman and a large park diagonally across from the hotel.
