For the money this is just a great place! The location is great, the room is stylish and comfortable, the cleaning is good. But it depends on which floor you go to and which administrator. On the fourth floor the rooms are much newer, on the fifth they are already shabby. The first time they checked into room 4 without any problems, the second time the administrator gave me a bad room for room 5, and when asked to change, she blatantly said that rooms for room 4 are only rented out to couples for hourly rent. The next day, another admin calmly moved me to the 4th floor and even to the same room that I asked for, for which I thank him very much! I think management should pay attention to the adequacy of its employees. Respect to grandpa admin!

Most wonderful time in Seoul Korea.
Looks like newly renovated and very clean room.
Very close to Dongdaemoon and Sungsu dong, Seoul forest, and subway station is 1 minute away from the hotel.
I will definitely visit again here.

There's a shuttle bus from the airport, but it's really far; it took over 2 hours during airport rush hour in the evening. Even in the morning with less traffic, it was still a 1.5-hour drive to the airport. It's about a 50-minute bus ride to Myeongdong. There's a really good Korean beef BBQ place nearby! There's also a Daiso and an Olive Young close by, but they're both quite small. The room could probably fit two people and two suitcases. The bedding felt a bit damp, but they already had electric blankets in October. The hotel's location is outside the main tourist area, and I booked it last minute, so the price was just okay.

I chose this hotel for its convenient location near KSPO. It's also just a short walk to the subway station, with plenty of dining choices in the vicinity. The room itself was quite spacious, and there are convenience stores readily available. The only downside is that there isn't much in terms of attractions or shopping nearby, but it was a decent stay nevertheless.

The hotel is very close to Exit 8 of Janghanpyeong Station on Line 5, and you can find the hotel in 5 minutes on foot. There is a 711 convenience store on the way, and there are also places to eat on both sides of the street. The hotel is located on the inner side, very quiet and quiet. The staff at the front desk are very kind and friendly. Even if they don't speak Korean, they can communicate in English. Check-in is very fast. The hotel room is very clean and has basic supplies. Every time you enter and exit, you will greet the guests kindly. It is a very comfortable experience for those who travel alone to Seoul for the first time. If there is a chance, I will choose this place again.

Overall good experience. The staff were friendly and polite and will help if you ask. The location isn't too bad, if you want to go late night shopping at Dongdaemun, then you will have to walk around 15 mins. An alright walk when the temperature is in the 20s but unbearable in the summer heat. Room wise, the beds are comfortable and the room is clean but small. There were a few mosquitos and flies in the bathroom that I assume came up from the drain because we did not leave the door open or open the window. I like how the lift and room door uses a key pad to enter instead of a card, so as long as you have a picture or memorise the password you will be fine :)

The hotel is perfectly located in Myeongdong, just a 7-minute direct walk to Myeongdong Station, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and transport. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything I needed. Accessibility was excellent, making it easy to move around the city.
A lovely bonus was the daily complimentary coffee, tea, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream — such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is absolutely clean. Rooms are cleaned every two days, but fresh towels are provided daily in a basket left at your door, which I found very convenient.
Staff & Services:
The staff are very friendly and cheerful. I requested an extra blanket, and housekeeping delivered it within just five minutes—very responsive and efficient service.
Location:
Excellent location right in the heart of Myeongdong shopping street. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the airport bus station (6001/6015), making it very convenient for travelers.
Room Layout:
I really liked that the toilet and shower are in separate rooms. This made it much more convenient for me and my partner to get ready at the same time.
Added Value:
As a coffee lover, I really appreciated that Nespresso capsules were refilled and restocked every day—a great added touch!
Summary:
Overall, I had a great experience at Solaria Hotel and would highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe location was superb as it is just right above the train station. Walkable distance to hongdae shopping street. Room size is decent, but a little small for a family of 4. The only down side is that the breakfast hours is 6.30-9.30am. Too early for us with little children that can’t wake up early. But as you are able to request to take away food, they will provide you with lunch box. So I managed to bring up food for my children.

Asked abt higher floor, she gave us 8th. We had indicated pref for higher floor during booking, probably wasn’t taken into account
Otherwise overall stay was alright. Location near anguk station, near a lot bakeries and cafe with good options of restaurants. Within walking distance gyeongbokgong palace.

Location: Incredibly convenient. It's right next to a wholesale market selling men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as shoes. Across the street, there's a bustling food street, making it super easy to find any kind of food you're craving. I particularly recommend a fantastic BBQ restaurant there that even serves live octopus 🐙, along with delicious fried chicken and beer.

The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfasts are not a buffet, but they are delicious and slightly different every day. The location is super, a pleasant walk along the Seoullo 7017 overpass from Seoul Station. And the center is 15 minutes away. There are many convenience stores in the area. There is a restaurant with European cuisine in the hotel building - pasta, pizza, everything is delicious. I recommend Hotel Manu Seoul.

While the rooms are compact, they are clean and modern. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar offers fantastic night views. Overall, it's excellent value for money!

GGuest UserI thought Gangman Seven hostel was a very pleasant experience! For the value of the price it’s really unmatched in Seoul. While a bit far from the touristic neighborhood, it’s very close to several subway lines, reasonably clean for the price.
⬇️ Also if you leave the hostel and take a left and walk for 6-7 minutes, you will see this dumpling place pictured below, really incredible and affordable dumplings, I highly recommend. Went back 2 nights
