This hotel location is good but not in city walking distance. If not driving, can take bus in front of hotel. Hotel provide free parking. Nice decoration and breakfast is really good.

Excellent location to get an Uber into the city or walk to the races, amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay there again for sure

We had brilliant friendly helpful service especially from Joe and rest of team who sorted out a couple of small issues. Much appreciated. Very comfy hotel great for sharing a twin room with great parking and very good for dog too. Great breakfasts as well.

"I am a chef and I travel a lot, staying at many different properties. This is my third time staying at a Holiday Inn, but I really do not like it. The only Holiday Inn property I enjoyed was in the Maldives; it was very nice. Now, I'm worried that the Maldives property might be similar to the others, so I’m hesitant to stay there again.
Please don’t ask me why I don’t like it, as there are many reasons. I just don’t feel that Holiday Inn meets the standards of a 4-star property. I believe that some non-branded 4-star properties are better than Holiday Inn."

The room is dark and cold, and I book for 3 guests there is only 2 bottle of water in the room. The bathroom drain is drain.

The hotel was perfect for our overnight stay in York. We booked breakfast and evening meal and the food was really good. Definitely use again.

Excellent Hotel in a great location. Safe peaceful area and lovely staff, plenty of parking when we stayed which was free.
