Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District Hotels

Our stay at Manyuan Hotel was truly wonderful! The location couldn’t be more perfect — it’s just a short walk to the National Park bus pick-up point, making it super convenient for travelers. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. What truly made our experience special was the amazing staff, especially Joy! She went above and beyond to help us plan our itinerary smoothly and made everything feel effortless. As vegetarian/vegan travelers from India, finding suitable food can sometimes be tricky, but Joy even helped us get proper vegetarian fried rice from a nearby restaurant — such a thoughtful gesture that truly touched our hearts. We felt so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend Manyuan Hotel to anyone — especially foreign travelers visiting Zhangjiajie. It’s not just a great place to stay; it’s a place where you’ll feel at home. 💛💚

Friendly and welcoming reception. The hotel is decent, clean and it is about 12 mins walk to the East entrance of Zhangjiajie Scenic area. The breakfast is basic which they can do better.  The hotel reception help us book the entrance tickets and adjust the entrance timing according to our plan daily. They review the weather and suggest route options for us daily. As the entrance tickets includes 4 days of entry, the reception will rebook our entrance tickets time and entrance location daily. This is very helpful as it is not easy to navigate the Chinese official website to rebook entrance entry.

Loved this hotel and would highly recommend! The room was clean, well stocked with amenities (towels, bathroom accessories, bathrobes etc). Bed was comfy and room was spacious. The shower had a waterfall shower head and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good with many options for both chinese and western style food. The service here was amazing! Mei at the front desk helped us to plan out itinerary for Zhanjiajie forest park, with our day planned and mapped out, even including the estimated time we would spend in each area of the park and our bus routes within to maximize our experience. She booked our tickets and park reservations. This was extremely helpful as we do not speak Mandarin and found the park very confusing on our own. They also provide free transport to and from East gate and drop off pick up to the pedestrian street restaurants and local sightseeing.. The hotel is also located right next to Baofen Lake scenic park. Our experience in Zhangjiajie was amazing thanks to the fabulous service this hotel offers.

This hotel is excellent, offering great value for money and a convenient location. It's easy to get to all the attractions and the train station, and there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance downstairs. The facilities include a laundry room, swimming pool, and gym. The front desk staff were very welcoming and promptly provided medical supplies when needed. It definitely deserves a five-star rating, and I'll be booking this place again next time I'm in Zhangjiajie!

I recommend this hotel without hesitation! I had such a great stay in this hotel The hosts are great and very very very helpful. We only stayed 2 days in Zhangjiajie and wanted to do so many things and we couldn’t organize correctly our trip but the host helped us to organise all the activities and gave us so much advice He also helped us to book tickets with some tips and discounts! The location is only at 20 minutes by walk from the Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance The bedroom was great and we had a great landscape of Zhangjiajie from the breakfast room on the rooftop All the staff was really warm and welcoming Thank you a lot for the help and for the stay, my friends and I are really grateful!

Traveling with my parents to Zhangjiajie, this hotel's location was superb! It's just a 10-minute walk to the East Gate or the Charming Xiangxi Grand Theatre. Restaurants, supermarkets, and foot massage parlors are all within a 5-minute walk. The hotel offers free drinks, beverages, and ice cream downstairs! Our hotel butler, Pengpeng, helped us book discounted tickets and gave us a detailed explanation of the hiking routes, which allowed me to successfully take my parents on both the mountain top and bottom routes of the Forest Park! The beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed in the family room was cozy! The breakfast was rich and the coffee was delicious! I would definitely choose this place again next time and recommend it to my friends!

Complimentary railway station shuttle, warm service and hospitality, nice room decoration, bidet with remote control, game-changing Xiaodu home assistant, decently-equipped mini gym. Location wise can be quite subjective (quiet and serene at the price of 3-5 minute taxi ride to Biaozhimen or the more happening Wuling Road). A bit overwhelming to the extent that staffs were always occupied and I did not manage to get pillow set for the third occupant in my room. In the end, I had to use zabuton on tatami as the makeshift pillow. Please inform the front desk if you do not want housekeeping service, as the cleaner might have overlooked my Do Not Disturb lamp.

Real good hotel! Great experience! Very cozy room! There's an induction phone charger in the room, which was great because I'd forgotten mine. The bathroom has a separate toilet and a great hairdryer! There's a pool! The breakfast is very good.

The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were extremely helpful. There were two young ladies and a young man at the reception, and they were all amazing—always friendly, cooperative, and ready to assist us with everything we needed. They even helped us carry our luggage. When checking out, we booked a taxi through one of the receptionists, and thanks to Xiaofeng, the taxi arrived right on time. She was always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Overall, the hotel and its staff were fantastic—very friendly, always smiling, and made our stay truly enjoyable. Facilities: The guesthouse has an elevator, which was a huge relief after a full day of sightseeing as we really didn't feel like climbing stairs. There's also a rooftop area available for drying clothes. Service: The staff were attentive, offering detailed explanations of Forest Park routes and recommending suitable itineraries based on our preferences. We could also buy park tickets directly at the guesthouse. Freshly brewed berry tea was available in the lobby, and any issues we had were promptly addressed. Cleanliness: The rooms feature wooden floors. We stayed for two nights, and on our second day, we saw the cleaning staff mopping the floors, highlighting the guesthouse's commitment to cleanliness. Even the tissues provided were thick and of good quality. Location: The guesthouse is conveniently located less than a ten-minute walk from the Forest Park. On the way, you'll find numerous breakfast stalls. Right outside the guesthouse, there's a bustling night market with food stalls that comes alive in the evenings, and the food there is quite delicious.
