Zhaoqing International Hotel (Qixingyan Xinghu Scenic Area Branch)

First of all, let’s talk about the good things: 1. There is a 24-hour McDonald's downstairs, and there are many places to eat supper nearby until the early morning. There are also several beverage shops, so there are plenty of food choices. 2. There is a very large supermarket downstairs, which is very friendly to supermarket lovers. 3. It is convenient to go to tourist attractions. It only takes about 10 minutes to take a taxi from the hotel entrance to various attractions. Serious complaint after staying for five days A. The hotel swimming pool is not open, which was the main point in our selection of the hotel. We booked it on Ctrip and chose this hotel because it showed that it had a swimming pool. We came with our swimsuits ready, but the front desk said that the contractor did not open the swimming pool (the guy at the front desk also mentioned that the gym and swimming pool were managed by the contractor). When we checked in, it was May and the temperature was 30 degrees Celsius, and there were no weather problems such as rain or thunder. Super disappointed. B. The room equipment is outdated. If you want to stay here, we recommend you bring your own hair dryer. The hotel provides a wall-mounted 90s-style hair dryer that takes at least 30 minutes to dry long hair. In addition, the switch socket was loose. It could have been refurbished with a little repair and renovation, but it was not done. The shower hoseis so old that it is about to fall off (see picture) C. Poor cleanliness and tidying up. Since we were on vacation, we stayed for a total of six days and five nights. After sleeping for a night, both of us felt itchy all over. So the next day they said they would change the sheets. Not only did the staff not change the sheets, they didn't even make the bed (see picture). Furthermore, the used tea sets were not collected (left for three days). If you want to use them again, you have to complain to the front desk before they will collect them. However, they only dealt with the tea sets and ignored the rest. I was speechless. The same goes for the cups and tissue boxes (which had been there for four days), which were never changed, put away, or properly placed. The bathrobes were not folded and hung up every day (after three days). Are guests required to do it themselves?  D. Breakfast is only from 7 to 9:30, so those who wake up late don’t have to go. F. No edible ice
