"Zen Garden is located in Dinghu District, Zhaoqing, about a 35-minute drive from Seven Star Crags. Gaode Maps navigation will accurately guide you to the destination. There is indoor parking available next to the Zen Garden. The entire Zen Garden is converted from an old school building, covering a large area, and the grounds are neat and clean. I booked a four-person room, which had four large mattresses and a unique feel, making me feel like I was in a mountain hut in Tibet. These were the two most restful and comfortable nights I've slept in recently. The room was fully equipped, and the toiletries were of very high quality. The vegetarian restaurant inside the Zen Garden has a beautiful ambiance, and the vegetarian breakfast was very plentiful. The porridge and fried noodles were delicious, and the whole-grain sweet potatoes and corn left me feeling very energized! The soup noodles on the dinner menu were also very tasty, with a delicious broth! It's worth mentioning that Zen Garden has two friendly dogs and several cats, all benevolent ambassadors, and the children loved interacting with them. The staff's warm smiles, gentle demeanor, and timely assistance made the experience truly delightful. If you enjoy meditation, tranquility, vegetarian food, or a rejuvenating family retreat, this is a Zen retreat well worth experiencing."

"This is my first serious comment since I signed up for Ctrip. The hotel is very diversified and clean. It is a B&B and very close to the surrounding attractions. Turn right and you will find Zijin Xiti 100 meters away. There is a street full of snacks that made me vomit! The boss and the guy are super nice! ! Seeing that we were an elderly family with two children, he hurriedly helped us carry our luggage. Moreover, when we went to the surrounding places, the boss seriously gave us the best advice for outsiders. He even recommended us to choose the free parking. The room is also very spacious, with tatami mats and a small balcony. As soon as the small lights are turned on, the mood rises instantly! "Very good travel and accommodation experience. Random trip on the weekend, specially booked by the lake, a little regretful that the courtyard room can't see the lake view. However, the courtyard scenery is still very beautiful in the garden composition, and the fish in the pond are outside the bathroom 🛀 window. Because I traveled with a baby, the hotel prepared fruit milk and a rabbit lamp. The children had a lot of fun The breakfast was very nutritious, and the children ordered tomato and egg noodles, which tasted great. I can stay here next time"

"Yanqian Village itself is a scenic spot, and this guesthouse is located in the heart of the village, facing Seven Star Crags. You can wake up and enjoy breakfast with stunning views, and after dinner, sip coffee while gazing at the dazzling nighttime lights. I booked a double room, which was spacious enough with a small balcony. Unfortunately, I didn't notice when booking that the room faced the back; if it faced the scenic area, I wouldn't need to go downstairs for coffee and the view in the evening, and could comfortably sit on the balcony enjoying Kung Fu tea while admiring the scenery. The host thoughtfully provided a tea set in the room. The breakfast was simple and healthy, but it was the same every day. A little variety or something with Zhaoqing specialties would have been better. The staff were all very nice!"

"Really nice guesthouse. It's quite far out of the city but near Ziyungu, which is off the beaten track and allows dogs, a lovely day's walk. Also close to Dinghu Mountain (no dogs allowed). It's about 25 minutes to the city by Didi. They have a couple of dogs, a Labrador and Collie, both friendly. Nice vegetarian breakfast. Chose the room with the courtyard, lovely just sitting in the sun chilling. Would go back again for the hotel."

The room was spacious with high ceilings, and the view outside the window was really pleasant. I also highly recommend the owner's private dishes – the free-range chicken was incredibly delicious! 😋 For breakfast, they even served local specialty Guozheng Zongzi.
