We had a wonderful experience at the Mangrove resort mainly thanks to an amazing staff member, JingJing who did absolutely everything to make our stay memorable and whose English was impeccable. We were initially booked in another hotel but it was really not up to our expectations so we decided to cancel our reservation and looked for another place to stay for our 2 week holidays. We visited lots of places but Jingjing really made the difference taking the time to show us around and her very best to meet our requirements. We had a small family villa and a room in the main building for our 2 children the first week (both really really nice) and then we moved to a 3 bedroom villa for the rest of our stay which was amazing. We were greeted every morning by Christina at breakfast, whose English was also really good and who’d seat us down in a quite room and would know exactly what we’d like to drink, eat etc… The only reason why I wouldn’t give the resort a 5 is because some of the pools were closed, there’s no beach restaurant and no pool bar. However, the room service was really good and the food lovely. All the hotel staff are very polite and efficient. A big plus to the hotel is the drugstore in the basement and the proximity to a small shopping mall where there’s a supermarket and various restaurants. Came mostly for religious reason, but I agree this place is a nice place to visit even for non-believers. The architecture is pleasing. Some tips: The place is HUGE. If you’re not a fan of walking, especially while exposed to direct sunlight, then buy the entrance ticket that includes electic bus. I didn’t, and ended up walking for over 2 hours across different locations. Spare at least 3-4 hours to see everything. Non-Chinese ID holders need to buy tickets at the windows. A Memorable Dining Experience at a Local Restaurant
Xiangmaoyuan (Sanya Haizhiyan Branch) Xiangmaoyuan (Sanya Haizhiyan Branch) is a Hunan cuisine restaurant located on the second floor of the Haizhiyan Shopping Center near the Howard Johnson Resort. The food was excellent, but what impressed me the most was the friendly attitude of the staff. Although we couldn't speak any Chinese and the staff didn't understand English, we communicated with smiles using translation apps. The dishes recommended by the staff were both aromatic and delicious. Overcoming the language barrier in a foreign city and receiving such warm and attentive service made the dining experience heartwarming, not just in taste but in spirit. I would definitely revisit this restaurant if I ever return to Sanya.

Local Delights at Tiantongxuan
While staying at the TimTon Kangda Hotel, we decided to stay close to “home” and have dinner at their in-house Chinese restaurant. We grabbed a table out on the terrace, near the pool, and it felt like a really beautiful and relaxing setting. Waiters there were very attentive and the food we ordered came in a really good time! What we ate: - Coconut Rice - Shredded Coconut Glutinous Rice Roll (a little too strong in what seemed to be the coconut oil it was cooked with? but I still ate two or three rolls regardless!) - Eggplant with Salted Fish - Spinach with Nuts - Stupid Chicken Stewed with Mushrooms (yes it was actually called Stupid Chicken, but was delicious and had a curry-like flavour. - Scrambled Eggs with Scallion - Tiantong Fried Rice We devoured it all! #asiatrip

Sanya🏝️ Lazy Person's 5-Day 4-Night Lightning Protection Complete Guide (All Truths) ||| Having stayed in Sanya for so long, I've pretty much visited all the big and small attractions, and here's a lazy person's itinerary for you, just follow it and you'll be right. - Day1️⃣ Arrive in Sanya in the morning ➡️ Return to the hotel to rest ➡️ Yemeng Gallery ➡️ Yiheng Night Market Around 5 pm, head to Yemeng Gallery to watch the sunset, which disappears quickly and you won't see it if you're late. The orange afterglow dyeing the sky is really romantic🌇 At night, go to Yiheng Night Market, where the average price for a big skirt beach dress is 7.80 a piece; spicy girl camisoles are 4.50 a piece, all very cheap. ⚠️tips: Yemeng Gallery should be located opposite to Haiyun Hotel, there's a large lawn that's great for taking photos.
