It is a good location. Very easy to go everywhere in Taiwan because very near to Taipei main station. The room is standard but late check in (16:00) and early checkout 11:00. The cleaning schedule of the room is 3 days each time. For me it is acceptable. I love laundry service with washing and drying machine but you have to prepare 10 NTD coin 30 for wash and 20 min for 10 dollar normally spend 40 for drying . My room has no window but no problem because we travel more than stay.

Nice & clean. Room wall is a bit thin but no concern to me because I always sleep with ear plugs. Although surrounded by many entertaining establishments, the hotel runs truly decent business. A bit distant from the train station & food street but not too far, accessible via public bus.

Location was not too far from Taichung station. Family room configuration was weird and had nothing to hang your clothes on. We liked the twin room better. Breakfast lack variety but the taste was better than other hotels. At this rate I really can’t complain though. Nice cheap hotel when you’re always out anyway.

We were upgraded to Family Suite and the room is too big for a couple. Nonetheless, we are thankful for it since we can move around. Room is clean and has strong water - you can have a nice hot shower after a long day outside. Location is very accessible to all must visit places in Taipei because it’s near Ximen Station. Best is you are just in Ximending - home of the best night market in Taipei. Room rate is affordable compared to other similar hotels nearby. Though they have to monitor the cleanliness of the elevator since it is for common use with other building tenants. The hotel rooms are located in the 9th and 10th Floors. Reception area is at the 9th floor.

The location is really good. If you went to taiwan to go shopping and visit different tourist spots, then this is the hotel because the mrt station is right in front of the hotel building. The service is really good and they change everything everyday. The only thing we didn't like is the smell in the restroom. It's not strong but you can smell something in the drainage. The TV also doesn't have netflix so it's kind of disappointing. But overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back and stay in this hotel. Really accessible, really accommodating service by the staff. Thumbs up!!

Additionally, the absence of entertainment amenities, such as a television or other forms of distraction, made the experience less enjoyable. On top of that, noise was strictly prohibited, which made it even more uncomfortable for those who wish to interact or enjoy a social environment. The biggest disappointment was the state of the facilities, which I found to be dirty and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere did not match the level of cleanliness and comfort I had hoped for. Tips for Backpackers: If you are a backpacker looking for budget-friendly accommodation, I would advise you to reconsider your expectations before booking at Sleep Box Hotel. The price might be tempting, but it's crucial to weigh what you're getting in return. Ensure you bring your own towel and be prepared for the heat inside the capsule. The location is good and it is very close to public transit. They have bath pools especially for men and women separately which are not open 24 hours. The room is small enough to open your suitcase. Good price and it is good for budget travellers.

Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature. Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

Overall the location is very good, very close to the train station, but there is a lot of room for improvement: 1. The service awareness of the front desk staff needs to be improved. When checking in, the efficiency is not good. There are people in the assigned room. After the room card is opened, there are engineering staff working next to the room, and the room is not ready at all. good. Shampoo and shower gel were in the form of small sachets, barely enough for 1 person to use 5. Electrical sockets were behind the beds, you'd need to move the beds to use them. Otherwise there's only 1 socket next to the table and another one in the bathroom next to the toilet 6. Breakfast selection was very limited and in a basement that is relatively dark. There's no hot water dispenser there so if you want to drink tea, you either have to prepare hot water in your room or from the dispenser on the first floor.

The environment and service are great. The only thing is that there is no heating. When there is a cold wave, the window next to the bed keeps letting in cold wind, which is a bit troublesome. Hope the stay can be improved in the future.

It's a little far from the station, but it's a quick bus ride away, and you can walk to Nantou Bus Center Taichung Gancheng Station. The night market is pretty close, and there are also delicious breakfast restaurants nearby.

I had a great holiday at this five star accommodation! The environment is elegant and the service staff are warm and friendly. I recently stayed at Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Station) and had a wonderful experience. Convenient Location: The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the Kaohsiung Station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The place is ok. The staff is just ok, I can't say they are too good either. They have a non-sense pedantic rule that you must collect your dishes and put them in a tray place. I felt like I am in McDonalds or in a trashy human factory. Meanwhile the staff are sitting doing nothing. As a guest, when I go to a hotel I want to relax, I have enough with tidying up and cleaning things at home, the least thing I want at a hotel is doing the same. Breakfast itself is ok but milk tea is EXTREMELY sweet and no milk tea option without sugar so if you do not wanna get diabetes type B you won't be able to enjoy breakfast. The rest is mostly very high carbs suggary or fried fatty stuff except a small salad buffet and scrambled eggs. There was no coffee during my stay as coffee machine was broken so cannot rate it. Checkin should be conveniently done with a kiosk downstairs but when I came it was broken too. The place feels comfortable and private. Water has only BOILING HOT water. So it does not have a mixer so you can shower for the first minute, then water is boiling super hot and there is no way to mix it up with cold water or make temperature cold down. It is funny cause travelling around the world I found some countries where it is difficult to get hot water but first time in my life finding a hotel where it is difficult to get cold water. Location is just ok, it is a bit far from MRT but most staff is nearby.

Good: very good location, only 5 mins from Formosa Boulevard station, interchange of 2 lines. Clean and spacious triple room. Helpful frontdesk staff. Tea time with drinks and snacks. Bad: no chair, luggage rack or large mirror in the room, hair dryer is too weak, breakfast choices are very limited and too local taste.
