"The room was just right and comfortable! The walls are a bit thin, but that's pretty typical for a hotel. Check-in and check-out were easy. They also offered Japanese language support. However, access from the RED subway line was a bit inconvenient. Since there were no hotel photos, I included a picture of the river near the hotel instead."

"This was my first time staying at this hotel. I heard online that it was renovated in 2025, so the facilities are very new and well-maintained. I even spotted an unused electrical box in the bathroom (it seems like they either pulled the wires for an outlet and left it there, or the renovation crew forgot to install the wiring in the bathroom). Overall, I had a good feeling about the place. I stayed in a superior double room. The bed was on a raised stone platform about five inches high, but it would have been more comfortable if the platform had carpeting. The bathtub faucet was quite slow; it took about 20 minutes or more to fill the tub. Honestly, I'd probably fall asleep waiting for it to fill, and it almost overflowed! This is the first hotel I've stayed in where the in-room refrigerator was a half-height, household-style fridge, and its cooling performance was excellent. That's definitely worth praising. I almost forgot to mention: I had some business to attend to in Tainan that day, so I couldn't check in before their 9 PM cutoff. I contacted them immediately, and they were able to process my check-in in advance. The key card was left at the front desk for me to pick up myself. They also offered luggage storage when I left. The service attitude was quite good, but it's a shame there's no restroom in the lobby! As for the location, it's quite convenient, right off the beautiful Island MRT station. Overall, I'm satisfied, and it definitely improved my impression. One quick note: the hotel is very close to Liuhe Night Market, just two blocks away, which is super convenient. There's also a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so you won't go hungry! 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻"

"I stayed in another Orange Hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Hence, I thought this Orange Hotel in Tai Chung will be good as well. I was wrong. The staff doesn't made us feel welcomed and cannot understand that even if we are Manderin speaking, people from different countries have different nuances when communicating. The male staff was impatient in answering our queries about the laundry services. He was noticed to be ignoring guests and often tending to his phone. The location was close to a many eatries and the hotel facilities are quite complete with a kitchenette and laundromat available for use. What will make it better is having water dispenser at every levels which is now quite a norm in many Taiwan hotels."

"I had stayed here twice. The location is so convenience to travel. Just 4 mins walking to the station and just 1 stop from the Taipei Main station. There are convenient store around there and also interesting museums that you can go there on walk. The room is quite big and comfortable but daily clean up needs to be informed 1 day in advance."

The cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

I often travel alone and usually stay in hostels abroad, but this is my first time staying in a backpacker dorm in Taiwan. The location is super convenient, right behind the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store (Station Front Branch). Whatever you want to eat or buy, you'll find it nearby—there are tons of restaurants, local eateries, convenience stores, and drugstores. They don't provide toiletries by default, but you can buy or rent them. All the common facilities are exceptionally clean and well-maintained! 👍

This hotel is really great, I love it. I've been staying here for 10 days and I haven't found anything bad about it. It's excellent, I'll definitely come back next time. Overall, this hotel is really good value for the price, especially if you prioritise location and convenience. The room size is decent for what you pay, and the bed and sheets were fairly comfortable. The shower has excellent water pressure, and a bidet is also available. Basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, hot water kettle, mini fridge and hair dryer are provided. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own. The biggest advantage is definitely the location. The hotel is right above Taipei Main Station, making it extremely convenient for getting around. There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, and there’s also a large underground mall beneath the hotel/station area, so you have lots of options without needing to go far. The main downsides are that the rooms have no windows, and the soundproofing isn’t the best. You can hear quite a bit of noise from outside the room, so light sleepers may want to take note. That said, considering the price, I think it’s a very good option for a short stay in Taipei. The location and convenience more than make up for the drawbacks, and I would consider staying here again.

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

Fantastic stay! The environment was spotless and tidy, and the common areas were cozy and welcoming. My bed was also very clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The location is super convenient, with restaurants and public transport nearby. I met so many travelers from different places, and the atmosphere was relaxed and free-spirited. This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰

The rooms are clean. You can use the hairdryer for free. There is also free mineral water and snacks every day. You can fill the water in the lobby too. There is a window, but it's not very big. It's close to Main Station, HSR Airport, and the bus station. You can walk there. There are a lot of food stalls, and the prices are lower than in Ximending.
