When I went to the renovation, I didn’t see anything in the hotel’s exterior. Then check in is a temporary office. Parking is free. The sound insulation effect of the room is generally a small building. I hope that it will look better after the decoration. The room is good. I gave a twin room. I can sleep in a single bed.

We stopped in Rawlings last minute for a quick rest before our final destination and we’re extremely pleased to find an amazing comfort motel at a reasonable price that we were able to bring our pets to. The room was clean and inviting and exactly what we needed for the few hours we were there. Thank you so much for the much needed respite. We’ll definitely be staying at Best Western from now on. Thank you so much. 😊
Rodeway Inn

By the time I arrived in Buffalo, I was rummy from an 8-hour drive. The doors were locked at the first motel I stopped at. The location of that one seemed great, but I was too tired to mess with making an online reservation when I was parked right there in their entryway. The Rodeway had great reviews and the price was right. Don't let the chain name drive you away. This is really an old school motel under the Rodeway name. It is operated by a young, energetic couple who keep it spotless inside and out, and it is updated with appropriate electronic chargers, microwave, fridge, and TV. Outside there is a lovely pool and even a grill for those who'd like to cook their own Bison burgers. And if cooking isn't in your plan, there are restaurants next door and across the street. I am always on the lookout for a good old-school motel. They are hard to find amidst the plethora of chains. This one may have the backing of a chain, but it has the facilities and the feel of an old traditional motel.

Plan B hotel after the Lexington cancelled reservations a month ahead of our trip (hotel changed owners and was still under construction). Very nice updated older hotel with interior entrance and second floor balcony. Room was very pleasant with Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator. Hotel staff carried my suitcase up the stairs since there was not an elevator. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again. No breakfast but you could buy cereal, milk, juice and coffee in the lobby was a courtesy. We bought baked goods in town for breakfast the next day. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants but you might want to drive. Parking was limited due to construction on one portion of the inn. We didn't check out the pool.
