I'm completely satisfied during our stay here. The essential twin room that we stayed in is far larger compared to other competitors, the room also has more life in it. Staff were all helpful and greets you everytime, it gives you a sense that you are always welcome. Location is very strategic but you have to walk 300-500 meters to reach Runway Manila if you're staying because of a NAIA T3 flight (this is it's only downside compared to Belmont) but a plus is you're staying in Newport City and it has plenty to offer. The gym is also well equipped and it is located just adjacent to the hotel pool. Breakfast Buffet is excellent. The taho station is a nice Pinoy touch for anyone returning to the country when they've been away for years. Book this hotel if you want convenience and value for money.

Didn’t do much research in hunting down the hotels in Manila. So we booked this hotel fairly quickly without much expectation and knowledge. We thought it was a good value for money, with good review and located in Chinatown and there should be some tasty Chinese food around, so we booked it. It wasn’t a disappointment, when we got to the hotel, it has a grand front entrance, the lobby was decorated nicely with the theme of Chinese new year. Good security staff at the entrance. The room is clean, staff are efficient and helpful. Got the price, there is really nothing to complain about. Recommended if you are in the area nearby. When we did typical tourists activities, we just took a grab and it was really quick to get to the main attractions in Manila.

We stayed here for a day, and the deluxe room was decent. It had all the amenities you’d expect from a hotel, and the breakfast selection was superb. The air conditioning was a bit hard to navigate, so the room felt warm under the sheets—especially with the very thick (and comfortable) comforter, which the AC couldn’t quite keep up with. Overall, it was good. PS. THE VIEW IS 100/10

Absolutely loved our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a great view of the city. Prime location, just walking distance from key landmarks, which made exploring easy. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with many options. Highly recommend!”

The location is excellent—super close to Mall of Asia, and there’s even a Jollibee right in front of Hotel 101 Manila. I really enjoyed staying here because of the convenient location at a more affordable price. It’s a great choice for both solo and family travelers. Will definitely come back!

I stayed at Hotel Sogo for 5 nights and 4 days during my convention at SMX. Overall, my stay was comfortable and convenient. The hotel is near SMX, which made it easy for me to travel to and from the convention. The room was clean and organized. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. The staff were polite and helpful whenever I had questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. The place felt safe and quiet, which helped me rest after long convention days. The food was okay and affordable. The hotel is also near malls and restaurants, which was very convenient. Overall, Hotel Sogo is a good choice if you are attending an event at SMX and want an affordable and accessible place to stay. I would recommend it for short or work-related stays.

Overall, it's pretty good, though the value for money is just average. I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I expected once I checked in. The breakfast was decent too. **Facilities:** There are 6 elevators, making it convenient to go up and down. The hotel is highly automated with modern technology. **Cleanliness:** Typical Philippines style – a moldy smell, poorly maintained, and the sheets looked dirty. (This is a common issue in many places here, so I'm not surprised). **Environment:** Although it's close to the airport, there wasn't much noise in my room. **Service:** The check-in process was inefficient. There were only two customers in front of me and two staff members, but I waited for almost 20 minutes (this aligns with what other reviews said). However, I wasn't asked for a deposit upon check-in, and check-out was quick – just handed in the card.

Love this hotel due to its location. High ceiling and wide lobby to hang around specially with us that came in a large group. Convenient access to The Landmark shopping mall which is quiet and more relaxing to shop around unlike in MOA very crowded and stressful. Buffet was the best, got lots of variety and all my faves were there. Even the adult kids enjoyed the swimming pool overlooking the view. We were comfortable in our rooms due to cleanliness and neatness with all beddings in white, you can feel and smell the complete cleanliness. Bathroom is just right size and could shower bear foot with its cleanliness. Easy place to get grab.  The area is under completing the development but very well recommended!

GGuest UserExcellent location right in the heart of city CBD which is makati city. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and mall. If you are interested in night life it’s probably four minutes away from the hotel.. staff are there 24/7 to help you out with anything you need. Check in fast and easy. Large room and bed as compared to other hotels in the same area with the same price  you get smaller room and not much in the bath room. With Berjaya you get face washer, hand towel and a soft bath towel. More plugs in the room to charge all ur devices. Cable tv,  breakfast has lot to offer.  my favourite staff is Mark he’s always available to render assistance.. many thanks to all the staff including the security team , restaurant staff and cleaning crews..

LLei AnneThe family suite we booked was incredibly spacious and clean, giving us plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept soundly. The highlight for our children was definitely the indoor pool and kids' play area. It was a perfect way for them to burn off energy, and it was well-maintained. The location was also fantastic, being close to manila ocean park and luneta. The staff, particularly the front desk team, were so welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend the Bayview Hotel or anyone traveling with a family. We can't wait to visit again!

GGuest UserWe booked it the location is convenient near the Mall and public transportation. Also near other stuff like drugstore and Fast food. The room was big but it didn't feel like they cleaned it well enough. I wanted to use the bathtub but the drain stopper was missing. Bathroom was ok for the most part has a bidet which is great but no shower head you can take on or off if you wanna do a half bath and not shower. The TV was broken I think it needs changing. The aircon was so weak the first day I was sweating all night. The staff are ok polite and very kind and accommodating. Even though the streets are busy it was quiet for the most part.Stayed for 4 nights,it was cheap so every thing kinda balanced it out I guess.

GGuest UserWe chose to stay here for one night because of the good reviews. The location is convenient, the check-in process was smooth, and the staff provided good service. The buffet was okay. We enjoy staying in hotels, but I don’t usually leave reviews, however, this experience stood out. This is the first high-rated hotel I’ve stayed at that charged ₱150 for the use of a plate, spoon, and fork (per set). The room itself was average. It was big and spacious, but it felt like it hadn’t been used in a while. The furniture and fixtures looked worn out and could use some updating. The bathroom, in particular, was unpleasant. It didn’t smell when we first entered the room, but after using it, there was a noticeable odor that lingered. There didn’t seem to be proper ventilation or any odor control to address this issue. We also encountered a lot of mosquitoes inside the bathroom, which made our stay uncomfortable especially since we have a child and dengue is very prevalent this season. Would definitely say that their room rates did not match what could be their rating standards.

AAnonymous UserBased on the price point and location, I think it’s acceptable. Just unfortunate to have gotten a room with water leaking at other toilet area each time the shower tap is turned on. This may have resulted in some unpleasant odours. Did inform the staff and they mentioned that they will get technician to check. Also requested for extra towel in case of leaks again. But ended up when I’m back, leak persisted and no extra towel. Couldnt bother to request again, but got the feeling that checking not thorough. Bundled breakfast was local and no frills. Bed were ok as well.
