Japan has many theme parks, and in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, there is an animation kingdom - Ghibli Park. Young people born in the 80s and 90s probably all know about Ghibli. As the hometown of Maneki-neko, cute Maneki-neko elements can be seen everywhere. You'll also find several small Maneki-nekos in various shapes, making me feel like I've entered a miniature world of beckoning cats. It's very interesting. On Tokoname Ceramic Ware Road, there are many unique ceramic shops run by artists, as well as traditional old-style pottery shops. Everything is made by the shop owners themselves, and each piece is unique and worth collecting. [World Tile Museum]: On Tokoname Ceramic Ware Road, there is also a novel and unique World Tile Museum, which was a surprising discovery on this trip. What impressed me the most was that there are over a thousand representative tiles collected and displayed here, which is quite spectacular. I also experienced "tile pasting" and made a photo frame with small tiles representing the colors of autumn as a souvenir of this autumn trip. The museum has six themed areas where you can not only learn about the history and charm of ceramics but also experience other hands-on projects. [Chubu Centrair International Airport]: It's very close from Tokoname to Chubu Centrair International Airport. Be sure to check out the Flight of Dreams themed area located in Terminal 1. #springitinerary Inuyama Castle is one of those places that totally sneaks up on you. It’s not as crowded as some of the bigger castles, but it’s got so much charm. Perched on a hill above the Kiso River, the view from the top is epic, especially at sunset when the whole town below starts to glow. The castle itself is Japan’s oldest surviving wooden castle tower, so it’s got this authentic, old-school vibe that you don’t always get at more polished tourist spots. Inside, you can check out the original wooden beams and narrow staircases, which give you a real feel for what life must’ve been like back in the day. The surrounding area is pretty chill too, with temples and nice walking paths. If you’re in the Aichi area and want a more peaceful, less touristy castle experience, Inuyama Castle is totally worth the visit. It’s simple but stunning.

#springitinerary This is one of those underrated spots that totally surprises you. It’s technically a Buddhist temple, but it looks and feels like a Shinto shrine. Think bright red torii gates, rows of stone foxes, and that peaceful, mystical vibe. Founded way back in 1441, it’s dedicated to Dakiniten, a Buddhist deity who kinda merged with Inari over the centuries. The result? A spiritual mashup that works beautifully. The main attraction is Reikozuka, aka the hill full of fox statues, hundreds of them wearing little red bibs. Each one is a thank-you offering from people whose wishes came true. It’s weirdly powerful and super photogenic. You don’t need to be religious to appreciate it. It’s just a cool, calm place to wander, make a wish, and maybe snack on some street food outside the gates. If you’re in Aichi, this spot deserves a detour.

Tucked away in the mountains of Shinshiro (not Kyoto, don’t let Google confuse you), it’s a chill hike through forest trails, past clear streams, and up toward these crazy rock formations and caves. The name “Chiiwa” means “breast rock” because of these wild stalactites in a cave that literally look like... well, you get it. The area has this peaceful, almost spiritual vibe, probably because there are little Buddhist statues tucked into the caves, and a natural stone gate called Tsūtenmon that’s super cool to walk through. It’s part workout, part nature therapy, with just enough quirk to keep things interesting. Not too touristy, not too tough, just bring good shoes and a sense of adventure. Perfect for escaping the city and pretending you're in a Ghibli movie for a few hours.

I had about 3 hours to spare due to a Shinkansen transfer, so I went sightseeing in Nagoya in a short time! ⛩️『Atsuta Shrine』 I was surprised to find such a large shrine surrounded by nature in the city! It was so grand that I forgot I was in the city! 🚃Right after getting off at Atsuta Jingu Nishi Station! 🍽️Lunch　『Yabaton』　La Chic branch When you come to Nagoya, you have to eat misokatsu! So I went! It was very filling and I was full! ⚠️There is a waiting time during certain times! If you have a busy schedule, be sure to make a reservation! 🕰️Business hours: 11:00-21:30 🚃About a 5-10 minute walk from Sakae or Sakaemachi Station 🗼Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER It was quite a sight to see! I recommend taking a photo with the inverted tower reflected in the pond! There were many shops surrounding the tower! 🚃Right next to Hisaya Odori Station! After visiting these three places, I bought some souvenirs at Nagoya Station and headed home! It was a short time of only 3 hours, but it was great to be able to experience Nagoya! It takes about 40 minutes by train from Nagoya Station to Gamagori Station. From Gamagori Station, take a taxi for about 20 minutes🚗 to arrive. As it is located at the tip of Nishiura Peninsula, it offers a 360-degree view of the sea and is a beautiful hot spring town. It has been loved by literati and scholars since ancient times. 🍱《Aichi/Nagoya》 A long-established Hitsumabushi restaurant😍✨ Speaking of delicious Hitsumabushi in Nagoya, I was taken to a super famous restaurant〜〜✨✨ It was full of customers and I had to wait 90 minutes😳 To kill time, I went to Cafe Miyamachi, which I posted about before☺️☕️ When the time came, I went to the restaurant, I was seated at the counter overlooking the gardenー😍 The cherry blossoms were just blooming, so the timing was perfect🤭 The Hitsumabushi that was brought to me looked so delicious!! The sweet and fragrant aroma was irresistible~😍😍😍 The way to eat it is 1. As it is 2. With condiments 3. With condiments and broth I thought I might not be able to finish it because it was so much, but it was so delicious that I didn't want to leave anything behind, and before I knew it, I had finished it🤤✨lol The fluffy egg roll was also delicious〜😍 It was worth the trip and worth waiting in line!!
