#eurotrip Dear myself, Thank you for this lovely trip which marked the best trip ever in my entire life. This trip would not be possible without the determination and all the sacrifices. Flew all the way from Kuala Lumpur transited in London before reached capital city of Finland, Helsinki. Then catched another flight to Kitilla airport which is the nearest airport to Akaslompolo, Finnish Lapland. . It was worth the journey, money and time spent when the Aurora Borealis appeared on our very last night staying in the northern finland. Still remember how frustrated you were when you were not be able to saw the aurora for the first 5 nights. Did you? But yeah luck was on your side, when no one expected to witness the dancing light for today ( from app forcast) hey suddenly the show came up without notice. The rest was just history and i believed it was the best moment for your entire life.. . To all traveller out there, dont ever loose hope for something that you are looking for. When you finally reach Yllas ski resort, you probably want to eat something. It’s very common in the Finnish Lapland resorts that the restaurants close very early and the same happened to me: I arrived around 9 pm and everything was closed except the Kaamos Grill in Akaslompolo, Yllas in Finland. The exact address is: Sivulantie 2. Well, I admit it’s not the healthiest choice but at least they have some decent options: kebab, chicken, sausage or even vendace (fish) and fries. They also have some hot dogs on their list. Prices aren’t too high, actually quite reasonable. In this land of good quality grill burgers, it’s fairly hard to beat the best restaurants but for this time and place it was just a perfect experience.
