Cape Rachado Lighthouse is considered the oldest lighthouse in Malaysia. It stands on the famous Port Dickson beach, located about 100 meters inland on the hilltop of Tanjung Tuan, surrounded by woodland. Its history dates back to the 16th century during the Portuguese rule of Malacca. The Portuguese established the site after capturing Malacca in 1511, and the lighthouse was initially built to guide their ships through the strait. The current lighthouse was rebuilt in 1863, consisting of a 24-meter high circular tower with a lantern and balcony. Another tower, completed in 1990, was constructed with reinforced concrete to monitor ship traffic in the Strait of Malacca and assist communication at the top of the structure. This makes the lighthouse an ideal spot for bird watching. Access to the lighthouse is only possible by walking up the stairs: a spiral staircase with 72 steps and a stone staircase located behind the lighthouse, which is a convenient path to the lighthouse. Transportation: It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. If you take the train to Seremban station, it takes about 40 minutes by car rental or taxi.

IT IS A FAMOUS PICNIC BEACH IN THE STATE OF MELAKA. THE COASTAL CONTROL TOWER OF THE MALAYSIAN CIVIL DEFENSE DEPARTMENT (JPAM) IS ALSO PRESENT HERE TO HELP PEOPLE WHO HAVE AN EMERGENCY WHILE BATHING AT TANJUNG BIDARA BEACH. In a little village in Malacca called Machap Baru, there lies a petite little street within the residential area where the villagers decorated it with red lanterns and peach blossom flowers to enhance the mood of Chinese New Year. The whole stretch is covered with lots of lanterns leading from the main road to a small alley, whereby there is a replica of seats underneath the plum blossom tree decorated with colourful lights. The kindness and hospitable residence within the street makes the entire event happened and thanks to their hospitality, many visitors are able to witness such nice atmosphere of Chinese New Year. #newyearadventure

#themepark Park Royal Melaka is here for the Eid al Fitr holiday. We have chosen to depart for nearby A'Famosa in Malacca, which is only an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. A'Famosa is located at a border, so it still takes an hour's drive from the center of Malacca. Now let's unpack the Park Royal A'Famosa Melaka Resort! Children who stay here can receive a task card, and after completing the check-in task, they can receive a reward. In addition, the hotel also offers a complimentary admission ticket to A'Famosa Water Theme Park. Unfortunately, we don't have enough time to explore. Maybe it's just recently opened, the hotel is very new and there are very few people, so no one makes it seem like a private room to play all day long 🤣。 The water slide here is located in shallow water, and my two-year-old baby stands in the water at just the right depth to walk on his own. The slide design here is fantastic, and children can slide down without fear. The hotel also has water grab and water polo rentals, but the children are busy going up and down the slide and throw the water grab aside 🤣。 The hotel has two restaurants - Spice buffet restaurant and Yayuan. When I went, Yayuan was still under renovation. The hotel's buffet restaurant is good at Malay food, so you can find delicious Malay food, but there are not many, and other foods are not very delicious. #favouriteitinerary On our way from Segamat to KL, we decided to stop by Sultan Salai in Simpang Ampat, Alor Gajah, Melaka, to try some authentic masak lomak. The restaurant was spacious with plenty of parking, and we couldn't wait to dig into the variety of food they had. Everything was presented beautifully, so neat and inviting. We wished we could try everything, but our tummy could only handle so much ! We settled on the smoked beef and tempoyak daun kayu, and that was more than enough. The food was full of flavor, spicy with the perfect kick, and absolutely delicious. We wiped our plates clean. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's definitely worth it !

It was fun to pull, kind of like stretchy cheese from pizza, but the sweetness was a bit much for me.
