During this month-long trip around France, we were completely relaxed and unplanned, driving wherever we wanted, and we didn't arrive in Nice until late in the evening, but the sun was still shining brightly. We leisurely strolled around the Bay of Angels, and this kind of relaxed and go-with-the-flow feeling was just wonderful! #timetotravel When in Cannes… of course I had to snap a picture with the big “Cannes” sign 🫶😍 The sign is up on a mini hill that overlooks Cannes which makes it the perfect viewpoint of the port of Cannes!!! It is free to visit the sign so I would definitely recommend. Next to the sign, you can find Château de la Castre (there is an entrance fee) and a little garden with is very picturesque and pretty. I believe there are two ways to get there: 1) Hike 2) By Bus Cannes is honestly not that massive so I did not bother exploring the transportation system and got around everywhere by foot. When you come to France, you must experience the charm of Nice. That touch of tranquil blue is enough to make people so happy that they cannot help themselves. - Nice is located in the south of France. There are no direct flights to Nice, but there are many connecting flight options. I chose the Shanghai-Barcelona-Nice route. Barcelona and Nice are very close, so you can travel to Spain and France at the same time, which is very cool! It is really a blessing to come to Nice. You can sit on the beach for an afternoon, watch the sea and the sunset; you can stroll along the beach and watch everyone sunbathing in various ways; you can have a cup of coffee and enjoy your own free time. - Nice doesn’t have many attractions or shopping places, but the beautiful scenery is enough to support this beauty. - The French baguette is the best food, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream is cheap and delicious. It's great to have a brunch! Everything is so beautiful!

After returning to Nice from Menton, I booked a four night hotel stay. Arrive at Nice Train Station, the city's main transport hub serving both long-distance and short-distance trains. The station is well-equipped and well-planned, making it very easy to navigate for travelers familiar with the environment. The weather was sunny and pleasant that day. In the station's café, you can enjoy freshly baked croissants, coffee and other specialty drinks. Considering the limited budget, I chose an affordable two-star hotel. The hotel is ideally located next to the train station, making it easy to make excursions to surrounding towns. The hotel booking process was smooth, although I had to wait for an hour and a half when checking in and the room was not ready, the staff allowed me to temporarily store my luggage in the lobby. I then attended Nice’s famous Battle of the Flowers event, which is a big part of Carnival every February. 2020 is the 136th Carnival, with the theme "King of Fashion". The scene was set up with props such as a giant sewing machine, spools of thread, and performers dressed in fashionable costumes. The entire event was filled with cheerful music, brilliant colors and enthusiastic applause from the audience, creating an atmosphere full of energy and positive emotions. During the float parade, a platform decorated with flowers slowly passes by, accompanied by wonderful performances by musicians, riders, acrobats and others. The Flower War itself does not involve confrontation, but rather conveys joy and beauty by distributing flowers to the audience. After the event, the artists continued to parade through the streets, further adding to the festive atmosphere. Once back at the hotel, it's only a 15-minute walk or two tram stops away. Although the single room is not large, it is sufficient for personal use. The interior decoration of the room is relatively calm. As a souvenir of this flower battle, I was given a pot of gerberas, which added a lot of fun to my stay for the next four days. It is worth mentioning that Nice is known as the lemon capital of France and has a rich citrus culture.

|Jay Chou's favorite Eze Town boutique luxury hotel. I was browsing Jay Chou's Instagram and found a photo taken at the Chatean Eza Hotel, which we visited on this trip. As a fan of Jay Chou, I was a little excited. Eze Town is about a 30-minute drive from Nice, on the way to Monaco. Many travel guides suggest visiting both places on the same day. As a traveler who doesn't like to rush, I spent half a day there. I hadn't done much research beforehand, and when I got tired of walking, I stumbled into the Chatean Eza Hotel. The sea view terrace instantly captured my heart, and I ended up spending half a day there. When I got back, I searched online and found out that the restaurant next door is a Michelin one-star. Not doing my research meant I missed the chance to enjoy delicious food with a sea view. The afternoon tea at Chatean is much quieter and more private than the popular Golden Goat Hotel. If you don't like noisy places, you can come here and enjoy the same experience as your idol. Nice

There are many cities in the world that are close to the sea, but only the small towns in southern France are large enough. Nice is the axis of southern France, connecting domestic and international routes. 20 minutes north is the "friendly country" of Monaco. Because of my love for Charles Leclerc, I always want to find the waves where he jumped into the sea with champagne foam after winning F1. Further north is Menton, a lemon-yellow town. It is said that when a certain Z female celebrity gets a hot photo, everyone will imitate the same way to check in. Before it became an internet-famous town, it was already a holiday destination, a place hidden in the northernmost corner of southern France, just a few hours' drive from Italy. Back to Nice, this time heading south. 10 minutes south is Antibes, where the Cap hiking route is breathtakingly beautiful in the sunshine. It is recommended to go counterclockwise for this adventure. The appetizer only takes 10 minutes. After passing through the path surrounded by trees, a small sandy beach backed by rocks suddenly appears in front of you. Here you can see the sparkling sea and everything beautiful with a warm yellow halo in the afternoon sun. Continue 20 minutes south to the famous Cannes. You will think of the red carpet, the film festival, the Palme d'Or, and the Monroe Wall. Cannes also has wider streets and a more modern urban layout. It also hosts most of the international events in southern France. It is the postcard of southern France. As night falls, what could be more appropriate than watching an outdoor movie here? Back to Nice, a place less than 2 hours from the UK, is like a backyard. Even a weekend is very suitable, but what makes me go back again and again is the chickpea pancake there. The thin oil pancake made of chickpea puree with a crispy texture is taken out of the stone oven, and there is nothing but satisfaction. This is also a specialty food that is only available in Nice. Remember this store name, Chez Pipo, because it is freshly made and the slow pace of France, it is recommended to order as soon as you are seated. There is also the Bay of Angels along the Promenade des Anglais. It may sound cliché, but watching the sunrise or sunset here is really beautiful. Bellanda Tower is still the best viewing platform, opening at 8 o'clock. If you get up early, you can enjoy the whole platform alone and imagine owning the whole city.

I had heard about the museum's fascinating collection, but nothing prepared me for the wonder of seeing a real Egyptian mummy up close. The entry fee was only €6.50, which felt like an incredible bargain for such an enriching experience. As I wandered through the exhibits, I was captivated by the diverse artifacts from different cultures, including stunning pre-Columbian art and beautiful musical instruments. Each piece told a story, transporting me to another time and place. Climbing to the top of the tower was the cherry on top; the panoramic views of Cannes were simply breathtaking. My visit to the museum was a highlight of my trip, and I can’t wait to return for another adventure!

Take bus 82 from bavastro station in Nice, France 🇫🇷, it is recommended to take the bus at 8:11, which can reach Èze in half an hour. It is suggested to sit on the right side of the bus to enjoy the sea view along the way. Then walk for 15 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain, and you will arrive at the Botanical Garden right when it opens at 9 am! The town is really too beautiful! It's like walking into Alice's Wonderland. There is also the Fragonard Perfume Factory in Èze, if you have time, you can go for a visit~

Due to the large number of tourists, nearby parking lots are height-restricted and narrow, so if you have a large vehicle, you can park at the port parking lot and start exploring from there along the seaside. #timetotravel This beach definitely CHANGED my perception about beaches because why are beaches pebbly in old nice??? I made the mistake of not wearing a pair of waterproof, closed toes shoes on this trip and it was tricky getting into / getting out of the water because my feet was stuck in the pebbles and it hurts just walking on the pebbles.
