The National Zoo is situated 13 km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur, with features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. Its aquarium "Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium" is a very popular attraction. It displays over 80 species of aquatic animals, both marine and freshwater, including invertebrates. But what amazed me was the Panda parade! There are 3 panda there, which are very cute. Glad that I as able to meet the two giant pandas Xing Xing and Liang Liang - the zoo's most famous residents. The environment of this Panda parade is cool and clean. which provided the Pandas a very good quality of living. Other than that, this zoo do have penguin and other special species! Based on the belief in the Nine Emperor Gods, the temple was named Doumu Palace, and later renamed Wanshou Palace and Nan Tian Gong. The highlight of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival is the procession to the Ampang River to welcome the gods on the 30th day of the eighth lunar month, and the fire-walking ceremony on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. Every year, more than a thousand believers gather at Ampang Nan Tian Gong to participate in the Nine Emperor Gods welcoming ceremony. The believers participating in the ceremony wear white clothes and pants, tie white scarves, hold incense, and follow the parade to the Ampang River to welcome the Nine Emperor Gods back to the temple. Negara Zoo in Kuala Lumpur. The distance to animals is incredibly close. You can see birds walking on the paths, and pandas and giraffes right in front of you, which is an unimaginable way to exhibit animals in Japan. The ticket prices are affordable, making it easy to visit. You can get there from a hotel in the city for about 10 ringgit using Grab. Zoo Negera Malaysia is the largest zoo in the country. Located near Melawati area with a ton of colourful and friendly animals. This zoo has a plenty of free parking lot with entrance ticket RM30-50 per normal person. #malaysiatrip Wonderful place to visit with your kids. My little one thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We reached at 10 AM. Walked through the entire zoo and saw many animals. After 2 it becomes very very hot. Highly recommend to get cap, enough water, a hand fan, snacks etc. We had lunch at one of the restaurants inside which was pretty good and reasonably priced. Be careful with monkeys and big monitor lizards which are seen here and there. Kids might be a little scared of those. Animals were mostly sleeping when we went. There is also battery car facility in case you are unable to walk. We stayed till 4.30. We watched the 3.30 show in the Amphitheater. It was okay. We were hardly able to hear what the person was talking. We saw a couple of birds, seal, chickens etc in the show. Overall if you have kids who love animals definitely worth visiting. It wasn’t crowded. However the show at the amphitheater was full and there was hardly place left to sit if you reach late.

The entire restaurant is spacious with ample seatings and tables. Lovely place surrounded by nature, and not too far away from Kuala Lumpur city centre, which doesn’t feel like you’re dining in Kuala Lumpur. The ambiance was quiet and cozy, you get to hear all types of sounds of insects, the rain, from the small waterfall at the back of the restaurant, a relaxing place that gives you a peace of mind! Staffs were friendly and accommodating! Food was mediocre, while drinks were decent ! Would recommend this place for the ambiance and vibes!

There is a huge carpark space in front of the zoo. Highlights: The National Zoo of Malaysia is quite huge. There are tram service provided but not free. Advice to learn the map prior to the visit. The animal show only available from Saturday to Thursday at 11am and 3pm. So be sure to arrange your visit time accordingly so you don’t miss the animal show. There are several cafes inside the zoo. The price of the food and beverages sold at the cafes are not that expensive. A little marked up but not as expensive as sold inside a theme park. Also not to forget, it’s really worth to pay a visit to the zoo during the birthday. Free entrance to Malaysian within 30 days from the birthday date! The main attraction that drew me to drive all the way from Penang to Kuala Lumpur was to pay Yiyi and Shengyi(giant pandas) a visit before they are to be sent back to China. With given only 15 minutes in the Panda Observatory, I decided to scroll around the zoo and I ended up spending more than 4 hours taking shots on the animals inside this “kingdom”. This trip is worth with the ticket price of RM36(booked online) inclusive of a 30 minutes animal shows. Zoo Negara Malaysia, a place that features various species of animals. Come visit this place with your kids for a nice family outing. But before you go, I would suggest you to check the weather forecast first since it is raining quite often nowadays. Like the environment, spacious and great services. Dessert portion is small but good enough to fill ur sweet tooth craving! Chicken wings are also well cooked! Ordered Gula Melaka Latte, Dirty Latte and flat well , three of us love the taste of our drink, not too sweet, well mix between matcha and coffee, great coffee taste blended with milk. Good atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. They have indoor as well as outdoir seatings. Best to avoid group dining as they have limited space and limited time for dine in. Tried their Grilled Chicken Chop and Baked Cheese Rice. Both taste good and the portion as well as price was reasonable. For drinks, I tried their Dreamz Lemonade (mainly for the beautiful colour) and ended the meal with a ice latte. They also had desserts. My third time dining here and I guess this place deserve the rating. Enjoyed coming here esp for tea time! Nice ambiance, pretty to take pics. We talked to the owner from our last visit we were here and they were nice and polite. I do enjoy their french toast, tomato soup with grilled cheese and mushroom soup with garlic bread. For dessert, you can try the chocolate gateu if you like! The drinks usually order their matcha. I wish they close a little late cause I like to come here after 5 cause its not too crowded imo.
