The coastal city of Aqaba communicates to the visitor both striking beauty and grace. Touching the Red Sea are a series of peaceful mountains and a riveting desert reflecting onto the clear blue waters. Stretching along the northern beach, the Gulf of Aqaba measures a length of 180 KM and expands to a width of 25 KM with 27 KM of the shoreline belonging to Jordan. The rest of the shoreline is shared with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.

For those unable to scuba dive but still wanting to view some of the abundant sea life that live in the northernmost coral reef on the planet, then there’s always that option of taking a glass bottom boat ride. When most people think of the desert kingdom of Jordan there first thoughts are often of beachside resorts. However along its tiny coastline on the Red Sea there are plenty to choose from. One of the best we found was the Bernice beach resort, a place where you can spend hours relaxing on the beach or diving and snorkelling amongst the incredible corals in the crystal clear, gentle waters. #chillandthrill #tropicalretreats #aqaba This hotel is near to the beach of Red Sea. Being a five-star hotel, it provides excellent service and has wide high-class lobby area. Facilities were clean. Since it was summer, I decided to dip into their swim pool. Other than normal swim pool, they also have swirl pool. There is a bar too. Staff were stand by in the area and very helpful.

You can also enjoy swimming in the sea. With its warm climate and little rainfall, it is famous as a resort area. The large square from the Arab Revolt period has many spots suitable for viewing the sea, as well as cafes and restaurants. Seafood is also famous, with popular dishes including shrimp and grilled fish. It offers a different kind of enjoyment compared to the Petra ruins and the desert.

Below it is a large seaside square, a popular resting spot for tourists and Aqaba residents. We went to a coffee shop in the square. The stylish shop had beans, postcards, and goods from various countries. You can enjoy not only coffee but also sweets, and the inside of the shop has a wonderful aroma. The sea is right in front of you, so it's perfect for relaxing and watching the sea. #Jordan

Aqaba, a famous tourist destination known for its beaches along the Red Sea and snorkeling activities, attracts many travelers as Jordan's only coastal city. In addition to the very friendly locals, the seafood restaurants, stylish cafes, and seaside promenades are also appealing. This time, I visited a shop called 'Life is a beautiful ride.' They had a wide variety of ice cream, and it was very delicious. I relaxed in the cute interior of the shop.

Aqaba accommodation: Hakaia hostel This accommodation is in a good location, the breakfast is delicious and hearty, and it is clean and tidy. The hostel's decoration style is very international, and the culture is authentic. The hostel provides Wadi Rum carpooling service, 25 JOD per car. The price is split equally per person, and the price for one person is 15 JOD. If someone A, it will be cheaper than Jett, but more expensive than the local bus. Arab divers is a dive resort that offers accommodation, scuba diving courses and both Scuba and Snorkel diving trips. We booked the diving trip via email with an English instructor named Mick, who worked as a diving instructor in Thailand for ten years before moving to Jordan. He was very friendly. The diving equipment was ok and up to standard. The price for 2 dives is 50 JOD, around 2500฿, including a full set of equipment. You can choose your diving spots. We dived at King Abdullah’s Reef and C-130 Planewreck and the tank, both beautiful spots. This is another recommended activity for anyone visiting Aqaba. #WaterActivities
