What do you mean, can't get there with a navigation system? I set up Panasonic car navigation, Google navigation, Apple navigation, and started in Kainan City (heading for Washigamine Cosmos Park), and we were all heading in the same direction until the beginning. As we climbed the mountain road, we found that each route was different! If you follow Google navigation, you will pass a golf course and go through a narrow road, and cars cannot pass from here.❌ I had no choice but to follow Apple navigation, and when I went about 5 minutes from there, it guided me to a road that looked like it would definitely be impossible to pass by car💦 If you follow Panasonic car navigation, you will go down the mountain and be returned to town! On the way, there is a sign that says "Cosmos Park is this way," but if you ignore it and follow the car navigation, there is a sign that says it's a dead end! I turned off the car navigation and followed the signs and finally arrived in about 40 minutes 🥲 It was a road that I don't recommend for beginner drivers because it had steep slopes, sharp curves, and narrow roads 😂 On the way back, it was only downhill, so I used Drive 1.2 and drove without braking as much as possible 🚗 On the way back, it took about 40 minutes to get from Washigamine Cosmos Park to Kainan City! It took 2 hours to get there 😭 The regular route is to get off at "Arita Minami" on the Hanwa Expressway, cross the river and you will see this sign for Cosmos Park Please follow the sign as your main route ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ 📍 Spot name: Washigamine Cosmos Park Toilet. Iwashi Plateau is famous for its autumn Japanese pampas grass. The majestic scenery that stretches into the distance allows you to forget about your daily life and relax. The wind is quite strong! I went during Golden Week, but it was a little cold 😅 I found the famous photo spot, Hike Rock, right away because I had to wait in line. When taking photos at the edge of the cliff, the footing is bumpy with rocks, so be careful not to fall! There are many ways to spend your time here, such as camping or picnicking. The kids were excited about the wide grassland and had fun running around and chasing bugs. We even spotted a Japanese serow on the mountain path of Iwashi Plateau! It's rich in nature. There was a huge traffic jam when I went there on a holiday... There were a lot of cars with license plates from outside the prefecture, so I had to wait on the mountain road for a parking space to open up...
