The entire team was fantastic! Martha and Jonas at the front desk were phenomenal, ensuring we had everything we required. Everyone here made us feel truly welcomed as we prepared for our safari. Another standout was our server for lunch and dinner, Bayo! He was incredibly friendly and ensured our meals were prepared perfectly to our preferences. Bayo also suggested excellent wine and beer pairings to complement our food. If Bayo is your server, you're in great hands! Highly recommend this lodge!

From the moment we were picked up at the airport to begin our Safari to the day we were dropped off, we felt completely safe and well taken care of. Our tour guide, Mr. Hamis, was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and birds we encountered. He looked after us every day and even prepared delicious lunches, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Spending time with him made the experience even more special. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine who lives in Africa, and I couldn’t be happier with the recommendation. From the moment you step onto this stunning property, the lush greenery and foliage along the Usa River will leave you in awe. There are many activities to enjoy, but the Riverwalk—whether guided or self-guided—is especially lovely. The staff is warm and hospitable, with Dorothy, our favorite waiter, standing out. She cared for us from our first cold drink through dinner and even breakfast. It seems like Dorothy never goes home, but that’s great because she’s fantastic. Can’t wait for our next visit to Rivertrees in Arusha!

We absolutely adored our stay at Rivertrees Inn. The staff were incredible and made our visit feel truly unique. Our room was excellent, and the overall ambiance was ideal for relaxation. The massage was amazing—a perfect way to de-stress. This was the ideal beginning to our safari journey, establishing the mood for an unforgettable adventure. This lodge was the final stop on our family safari adventure in northern Tanzania! We stayed for one night in a family room, which was simply fantastic. From the warm welcome with the "Jambo" song to the spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed room (modern African style, which I adore), everything was wonderful. The highlight was definitely the food—the dinner was amazing. There was a starter and soup buffet (hands down the best butternut soup I've ever had) and a delicious main course. Almost forgot to mention the garden—it’s like a stunning jungle coffee plantation... just wow. We departed in the rain, feeling sad to leave. The only slight downside was the bumpy road to get there, though we had a similar experience with other excellent lodges we visited.

Our one-night stay at Rivertrees Country Inn before beginning our safari was exceptional. The food, staff, and accommodations were delightful, and the spa massage was wonderful. We stayed in two rooms, both of which were clean, well-maintained, and of high quality. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Dinner from the set menu was amazing, and Emmanuel went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

The staff warmly welcomed us upon arrival and arranged a delicious lunch and early check-in, understanding we had just traveled 20 hours from the U.S. We quickly fell asleep after slipping into cozy robes and enjoying the soothing sounds of the river. We woke in time for dinner, where Aziza graciously helped us select a unique and flavorful meal. I chose the Swahili Style Tilapia with African Polenta, which turned out to be the culinary highlight of my trip. The next morning, Nelson cheerfully assisted me in gathering some breakfast snacks to bring back to my wife, who was still resting in the room. After a tranquil walk by the river—where we even spotted monkeys in the trees—we returned for a proper breakfast. Nelson greeted us warmly, and we enjoyed fresh fruits, rich coffee, and perfectly cooked omelets. This peaceful location and excellent service made for the ideal beginning to our Tanzanian vacation.

Around 40 minutes from JRO, this spot is the perfect place to stay either before or after a safari. The rooms and grounds are lovely and well maintained. The food was fresh and tasty at all times of the day! The staff was our favorite part of the experience. Nelson was incredibly attentive, friendly, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure our enjoyment. On our final night, Nelson surprised us with a beautifully arranged dinner, which meant the world to us. Nelson is fantastic! We will return!

I visited with my son for three days ahead of our African Safari, and we came back for two nights after it. All the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. They catered to our every need, arranging transportation and even a last-minute, one-day visit to Arusha National Park before our Safari. The rooms are inviting and cozy, offering splendid views of Mt Meru. Situated just outside bustling Arusha city, the hotel is set in a beautiful garden. An evening fire pit adds charm to the setting, and the restaurant is accommodating—my son is vegan, and they remembered his dietary preferences. A wonderful deal for the price and service, we're eager to return someday!

Enjoyed a splendid day at this remarkable course. It was the perfect way to conclude our safari, offering a gorgeous setting for 9 holes of golf before our flight back. Our caddie, Nick, provided helpful tips and suggestions to enhance our game. The cost was about $140 USD for 9 holes, including two rental club sets, balls, and tees, tip not included. Though the course is a bit remote, it reveals itself as a verdant haven. Plenty of wildlife to observe while walking the course. A superb way to spend the afternoon.

I was intrigued when our journey led us to a dam. To our surprise, we had to navigate a loop to reach the guest parking. Once there, lush gardens greeted us, setting the scene for a delightful experience. We enjoyed tasty cuisine, trekking, a boat trip on the dam, horseback riding, and restful sleep in cozy rooms. The staff and owners of Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge ensured a comfortable stay. Big thanks to Sharifah and Hassan in services, Emma at reception, Deogratias the boatman, and Joyce. We will certainly return, and now our friends and family abroad are eager to visit Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge.

Bright African Safaris truly excels at organizing safaris! Our family of six had the most incredible experience. Each member of the Bright African Safaris team was wonderful to work with: Salim in the office, Dennis - our Nairobi liaison, and Vincent - our AMAZING guide. Vincent was an exceptional driver, knew how to find the best spots for animal viewing (we saw all Big 5!), and possessed a fantastic personality that matched well with our family. We stayed in wonderful locations, enjoyed delicious food, and were delighted by the friendly hotel staff. The people of Kenya truly have sunshine in their souls!

We touched down at Kilimanjaro Airport in the evening. Jaffet greeted us warmly and drove us to Kibuko Lodge, where Nuru made us feel at home with a delicious meal. The first day was spent settling in. After breakfast, Hillary guided us around the nearby village, followed by a visit to the Watoro Foundation. Overall, we found the lodge beautifully nestled in the countryside, featuring various seating areas. The rooms are cozy, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We spent 2 nights here—1 night before and 1 night after our safari in the Serengeti. The accommodation consisted of 2 adjoining rooms in a single cottage, rooms 18 and 19. They were clean, cozy, and roomy. The decor was lovely, and mosquito nets were provided for each bed. Although we spotted a few ants in the bathroom, everything else was perfect. Meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were tasty. The drinks and cocktails were excellently prepared. Special thanks to Nelson, our server, who was amazing, amiable, and made our dining experience more enjoyable. We embarked on a Riverwalk along the Usa River with a guide, where we observed many monkeys and learned about native plants, gardens, and wildlife. It was beautiful!

AMAZING �! That's the best way to sum up our initial days in Tanzania ��! We lodged at the charming Kili Villa near Arusha. The house was wonderful， the staff incredibly friendly， and the food was excellent. They even surprised our daughter with a birthday cake ��! We enjoyed a Game Drive at nearby Arusha National Park， squeezed in a round of golf， and made new friends by the campfire �. I can truly recommend this spot for a Family Vacation �❤️!!!

We spent two nights at Olerai after our gorilla trek in Uganda， before heading to Tanzania's splendid national parks. Olerai Lodge was undoubtedly our favorite accommodation during our two weeks in East Africa， and we’d return in a heartbeat! We enjoyed a rest day there prior to embarking on the safari part of our journey， and it was an ideal spot to unwind， relax， and be pampered. Celebrating our fifth anniversary with Shadows of Africa， we were welcomed with complimentary champagne and a stunning room that felt like an entire house! We loved the charming mountain-view patio， complete with an outdoor lounging bed and swing. The bed was the most comfortable of our trip， and the bathroom was spacious， boasting a lovely clawfoot tub perfect for soaking after days of adventures. The water pressure and temperature were excellent， and though there wasn't air conditioning， we stayed perfectly comfortable with the room fans. The lodge also offers beautiful kitengue robes for lounging， which were a delightful touch! Meals were delicious， combining buffets and menu selections for entrees， with a variety of soups we adored for dinner. Our main server was Chaz， whose kindness stood out—he and the staff even surprised us with a cake and a song for our anniversary on our first night! The entire property was gorgeous and tranquil， enhanced by stunning landscaping. Although we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the pool due to overcast weather， we had a lovely time relaxing indoors and around the property. Observing the monkeys was immensely entertaining， though it's important to maintain distance and not leave belongings outside. If we return to Arusha， we will definitely stay at Olerai again! Highly recommended!
