On my first visit to Baltimore, I stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore, which is close to the famous landmark, Baltimore Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor is home to many tourist attractions, including an aquarium and a maritime museum. When I arrived at the hotel lobby, I saw a row of information boards and learned that the building itself is a historic site, once the headquarters of the most influential railroad company in the United States, the Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) Railroad. The B&O Railroad holds an important place in the history of American railroads, as it was not only the first commercial railroad in the country (its first section opened in 1830), but also the first to successfully invent a steam locomotive in the United States, and the first to be used to transport mail. About a 10-minute drive from the hotel is the B&O Railroad Museum, where the first railroad in the United States was built. The museum is not only the oldest railroad manufacturing facility in the United States, but also houses the largest collection of 19th-century locomotives in the country, attracting railroad enthusiasts from around the world.

However, the wind is incredibly strong today.

The University of Maryland (UMD) is located in Baltimore. UMD is a top-tier public research university in the United States, often referred to as a "Public Ivy." The campus is located at the University of California, College Park, adjacent to Washington, D.C., boasting a prime location. The university is renowned for its engineering, computer science, and business programs, and has a strong research reputation. Its mascot is the famous Testudo mud turtle, and its vibrant red campus ethos is full of energy. The night view of Baltimore is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, it's windy and cold 🥶, making it impossible to stay outside for long.

Walters Art Museum👨🎨 Soaked here for three consecutive weekends, it really is the museum ceiling of Baltimore in my mind💯! The first time I stepped into the Waster Museum, I couldn't help but praise - "Private free museums can be so high quality, push!", "I must come back!" By the second visit, I still couldn't help but feel: "I admire and envy the host!" The third time I met a super nice and humorous lady, the whole experience directly upgraded to the peak 💥! Never tried to go to the same museum three times and felt like it would just keep reloading in the future. 🌍 Exhibits cover a wide range - Euphrates ancient civilization, Yellow River basin treasures, Andes mysterious totems, African primitive art, medieval knight steel armor, Renaissance flowing light and shadow, as well as deadly crafts and natural specimens, all very detailed! Each exhibit is like a time machine, taking you through ancient and modern times, and feeling the heartbeat of human beings and nature evolving together. The cultural relics are sitting there quietly, and I quietly encounter stories from thousands of years ago📸. 👀 In addition to the collection itself, the architectural design is super dramatic! There are surprises around the corner, and the interactive area has beautiful play - taking the mirror features small interactions, impromptu drawing, response to questions sessions, and even the seats that can be seated everywhere feel the attentiveness. Every detail is resonated and co-created by the museum and visitors, a real two-way run 🫶! 😎 To be honest, it is difficult for the camera to 100% record the shock and details of the artifact, so we can only use text to preserve this emotion〜 This is my first time writing a museum "small discussion". Unlike any previous treatment, the session had a unique flow, her hands moved with purposeful, smooth motions for the entire hour. I highly recommend this place.
