DarongShan National Forest Park, around 23 km from Yulin downtown, is a stunning landscape with mountains, forest, reservoir, waterfall and windmills. As it's such a big forest park with hundreds of mountains, and the main attractions are far away from each other, it's highly recommended to visit by car 🚘rather than public transportation. If you go there in National Day, prepare yourself with enough food and drinks because of traffic jam😆 There is an abandoned reservoir 🏞with clean water and surrounded by green forest. Nice view of the overall reservoir. While some people go there for swimming and BBQ. Besides that, DarongShan National Forest Park is also famous for its vast grasslands, where you can enjoy camping🏕and paddling in the biggest grassland with a lake nearby. I was lucky to find out the Lianhua Waterfall(莲花瀑布) after one hour hike and steep descent in the hidden forest.
