One Day, Three Wonders: Uncover Kathmandu's UNESCO Secrets
#summerdestinations
During my summer break, I explored the historic treasures of Kathmandu Valley. My journey began in Bhaktapur, where the "City of Devotees" greeted me with its ancient charm. The grandeur of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, with the magnificent Nyatapola Temple and the intricately carved 55-Window Palace, was a highlight of my visit. Secondly, to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the energy of the city was palpable. Surrounded by historic pagodas and palaces, I was particularly fascinated by the boudha, soyambhu monkey temple, home of living goddess, and the detailed artistry of Hanuman Dhoka Palace.I concluded my trip in Patan, a city renowned for its artistic heritage. Patan Durbar Square, with the stunning Krishna Mandir and its intricate stone carvings, left a lasting impression. The seamless blend of Hindu and Buddhist elements in the architecture was truly captivating.
