This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The rivers are not like watering rivers like the ones above in general. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play sand freely on the shoreline due to the presence of wave breakers. As an alternative, you can explore the site and walk on coral landscapes that surround the area. The beach’s main feature is the wave breakers located in the midst of the shoreline. These natural borders prevent big waves from coming near to the land, actually. Not only they are functional, but they also become a perfect object for photography. #favouriteitinerary The Plaosan Temple is a mere 6 mins drive away from the Prambahan Temple. From its architecture, characteristic of its temple top is Hinduism, while the base is Buddhism, thus at first sight i cannot figure out whether Plaosan is a Buddhist or Hindu Temple. But as the story unfold, as differences of religion and ideology cannot separate the love of a Hindu King and his Buddhist Queen, to support and strengthen one another, this Temple is built to reflect their love which can be seen in the architecture of Plaosan Temple. Hence the physical structure of the temple is also a marriage & union of their individual belief/religion. The Plaosan Complex consists of 2 main temples surrounded by stone walls. Surrounding the stone walls are mostly ruins of the ancillary temples. The Temples are ornamented with decorations carved with beautiful details. The stairs up the temple has dragon head ornaments on its banister. Sadly about half the temple structures were damaged by the previous major earthquakes. Nevertheless, the Temple Complex is peaceful and quiet, Dwarapala statues can be seen standing, like guards on sentry duty. There were no any street peddlers touting or to telling us to buy their products. Very peaceful , not crowded with spectacular view of the whole green land !!

Stopped for morning coffee at one of the best coffee roasteries in Solo called @koeslancoffee, home of ICRC and WCRC champ mas @wisnu_aji3. Actually, this place is only focused as a roastery and there is no seating area, but here we can buy single cups of coffee and enjoy it in the back lobby area which is quite cool and shady. Maybe this place will become one of my favorite coffee shops in Solo. The design is authentic with a vintage-industrial feel with a touch of tropical vegetation which makes the atmosphere even cooler and more comfortable. The seating area is also very spacious, there are three floors of indoor and outdoor areas surrounding the coffee bar. The beverages vary from classic coffee to manual brew. I really like the elegant design of the coffee bar with a minimalist nuance, in harmony with the calming and comfortable two floors of the seating area.
