#Places to go with kids 📍Shanghai Valley I visited Shanghai Valley located in Cheorwon! Search for Shanghai Valley on your navigation and go! There are many fun points to play in the valley on the way up when you almost get there! Since you can park on the road next to it, there was no problem with parking and I had a great time! Another good thing is that you can cook!!! Of course, take your trash with you! There were also many bathrooms along the way, which was nice!

When I entered the store, there were so many different types of bread that it was hard to choose, but after purchasing, there is a space like an indoor vinyl greenhouse and an outdoor terrace, and the inside of the store is so spacious that you can sit and eat wherever you want! #springwander Last weekend, I had the chance to visit the Cheorwon Flower Festival in Gangwon-do, and it was an unforgettable experience. As I entered the festival grounds, I was immediately surrounded by a stunning display of colorful flowers in full bloom. The vibrant fields of sunflowers, cosmos, and wildflowers stretched as far as the eye could see, creating a breathtaking view. The festival was well-organized, with scenic walking trails that allowed visitors to take in the beauty of the flowers up close. I especially loved the sunflower field, where the bright yellow petals seemed to glow under the sunlight. There were also plenty of photo zones, making it the perfect place to capture beautiful memories. Aside from the flowers, the festival offered a variety of local food stalls, cultural performances, and hands-on activities. I enjoyed tasting some traditional Korean street food while listening to live music in the background. The combination of natural beauty and lively atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Cheorwon’s peaceful countryside and stunning floral landscapes make this festival a must-visit for anyone who loves nature. #WinterTravel 1️⃣Cheorwon History and Culture Park This is a retro-style history and culture park that recreates the old Cheorwon. The park is so well-maintained that it's great for taking a walk with your dog, and since each building is a photo zone, you can take lots of pretty pictures with your dog. 2️⃣Soisan Perimeter Trail (Mine Flower Trail) This is a perimeter trail that connects Cheorwon History and Culture Park No. 1 and Soisan Observatory No. 3, and it's a great course for taking a walk with your dog. It was originally located within the Military Demarcation Line and was off-limits to civilians, but it was opened in 2012 and turned into an ecological forest green trail. As the subtitle of the perimeter trail suggests, there are still landmines installed during the Korean War beyond the barbed wire fence that you come across as you walk along the perimeter trail. 3️⃣Soisan Observatory You'll come across Soisan Observatory as you walk up the Soisan Perimeter Trail. You can also see the DMZ-related exhibition on the way up to the observatory, and the Cheorwon Plain that you can see when you climb up to the observatory is really vast and beautiful. 4️⃣Labor Party Office Until June 25, this building was used as the North Korean Labor Party. It was heavily damaged during the Korean War, and the entire building was blackened and there were many marks from shells and bullets, making it a modern cultural heritage that reminds us of the Korean War and the division of Korea. It is also close to Cheorwon Historical and Cultural Park No. 2, so I visited there with May. 5️⃣Sambuyeon Waterfall While driving around Cheorwon with May, you suddenly see Sambuyeon Waterfall popping out from the side of the road, making you wonder if there is a waterfall here. It is a beautiful sight even in the summer when the waterfall falls, but it is a really amazing spot when the waterfall is frozen solid in the winter. The biggest advantage of Sambuyeon Falls is that it is a large waterfall that you can go to without having to climb a mountain, and it is located right in front of the roadside parking lot! It has a strong old-fashioned feel, and since it is Cheorwon, Many soldiers guarding the front line also visit this restaurant. Cheorwon is really good at this. It's about slightly twisting ordinary-looking tourist attractions into useful spaces. The Goseokjeong Flower Garden is one of those places. I've been there twice so far. I've never regretted it. It's very pretty and there are many photogenic spots. It's a shame that the period is short, but I highly recommend it. #2025OverseasTravelEvent
