The best 12 pax hotel experience in KL. Stay with families 💕
Stay with my families with 12 pax. The hotel is very new and clean. There is a kids room with small playground inside and small basketball court for kids to have fun.
There is also balcony with camping chairs and table. The kitchen is big and clean as well and full of plates and cups, so we can have own dinner in hotel.
The room is total 4. Spacious and clean.
I definitely with recommend this hotel in Cheras, KL to big family who come travel!

Cozy Afternoon Tea Experience at Flos Cafe in Cheras
#afternoonteatime
#100waysoftravel
Flos Cafe is a hidden gem located on the fourth floor of a shop-lot in Cheras Business Centre, combining a cosy dessert-and-coffee parlour with a charming florist shop. It’s a perfect spot for afternoon tea.
The cafe isn’t large, but it has a warm and cosy atmosphere that makes for a perfect afternoon getaway. Every corner is Instagrammable with its vintage decorations, and you might even spot the two cats that roam freely around the cafe.
Flos Cafe only accepts customers with reservations, so be sure to book ahead. When booking, you’ll need to preorder your desserts since everything is freshly homemade and limited in quantity. A RM30 deposit is required, which will be deducted from your final bill.
Each reservation is for a 90 minute slot, and every guest must order at least one drink. The menu may be limited, but it changes every month, keeping things fresh and exciting. I tried the Passionfruit & Orange Danish and paired it with a Passionfruit Cold Brew – both were delicious!

Hearty Fried Rice Store in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
#winhkflight
📍Fried Rice Company, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur
My favourite fried rice place in Kuala Lumpur is none other than Fried Rice Company that is located in Yulek area in Cheras. It is a humble small store selling fried rice, but I would always revisit whenever I was craving for homey delicious food! We were immediately greeted by the tantalising aromas of fried rice entering the store. There are several tables and seats, with airy environment, great place for a quick hearty lunch. The fried rice was served quickly and warm, was very flavourful and full of wok hei! They definitely did not skimp on the ingredients, prawns were fresh and well cooked, egg yolk was runny! Love this place and 10/10 would recommend !
I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!
Hidden Café in Connaught, Cheras🇲🇾
#winhkflight
📍Yue Coffee Bar
46a, Jalan Mutiara Barat 6, Taman Taynton View, 56000 Kuala Lumpur
Decided to have a quick breakfast at this café after reading reviews of this café online. The café is tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, rather difficult to spot the entrance of the café as it is located on the second floor. The vibes are immaculate, with cozy and comfortable environment. Great place to work on laptops, have small talks. Love that they have ample of natural lighting flowing in store, it is also air conditioned. Coffee was good, with strong coffee aroma, the blend of coffee and milk is well balanced! The food we ordered was delicious and served warm too!
I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!
cafe for cat lovers!
📍Poppy Kat, Cheras
this is a cat friendly cafe. it is located on the second floor of a shoplot. parking is a bit hard as it is in a congested area.
the cafe is small but very well designed that it looks bigger like double than its size. even though they had cats roaming inside, it is clean.
the caramel popcorn latte is soo delicious! the croffle is so-so.

Chatto - Handcrafted Tea Bar Cheras🧋✨
It has a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Cozy ambiance to enjoy drinks. Price are affordable.
The drinks here are also nice as they're not very sweet and doesn't feel filling. Ordered the Some Korea Spicy Chicken. Food served are those healthy type with combination of many ingredients. Rice is very small portion only but overall is quite filling for me. 🥰
It’s self service restaurant, order at the counter and collect at the counter when your order number displayed on the screen. Song or music played are quite nice. More customers comes after 4pm and it’s seems like students from the nearby college. 🍃
Selling healthy milk tea here. Really like the environment here, very relax, unique among other milk tea shops, the staff also very polite. 👍🏻✨

Compilation of KL View at Night 🌟
Maybe I’m not a good photographer but these pictures are captured using my iPhone and I like them❤️ Just want to share the beauty of Kuala Lumpur at night.
First pic: The view is from my bedroom at dawn
Second pic: This picture was taken at MRT Kajang and a lot of people also stop there to capture the moment.
Third & Fourth pics: I captured this view when I was at the Airbnb @ Landmark Residence. The rate of 1night stay only from RM160++ and it is really worth it with the view.
Last pic: The fireworks were happening during 2021 New Year Celebration. I am lucky to watch it only from my living room as my house is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

BMC Blue Lake
Located just about 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, you’ll need to take about a 10-minute hike before you reach BMC Blue Lake. It’s situated in Bandar Mahkota Cheras. It’s really super blue.
Armed with general directions from the trailhead, we confidently headed up a jungle path on the left of the tarmac road. Following an arrow pointing to the ‘Fish Pond’, we climbed for twenty-five minutes with nary a glimpse of the famed blue lake.

Koya Japanes Restaurant
If you are around Cheras and looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant, do stop by Koya Japanes Restaurant in Mahkota Cheras. This is a simple Japanese style restaurant with good selection of Bento sets at reasonable price. My daughter especially love their garlic fried rice. The restaurant owner is nice and patient with us when we ask lots of questions on the menu selection. We had a good lunch at this place reminiscing our recent trip in Japan.
A Rustic Hideout with Kampung Charm
#cityplaybook
Yue Coffee Bar in Cheras feels more like stepping into a familiar old kampung house than a typical café.
The space is open and rustic, with wooden beams, creaky floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in soft, natural light. Mismatched vintage furniture, a tiny library corner, and plenty of indoor greenery give it a homey, lived-in charm that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile.
I had a flat white and lingered by the atrium, where the light filtered beautifully through the roof, casting soft shadows across the room. It’s a spot that blends nostalgia and quite cool without trying too hard.

Monochrome Moods & Coffee Conversations
#cityplaybook
A hidden gem of a café, quietly located on the second floor of a shoplot.
I have to say, I’m a big fan of the interior—monochrome minimalism done right. Since it’s a corner unit, the space feels open and airy. My friend and I often spend entire afternoons there over coffee.
Speaking of coffee, we really liked it. They offer two espresso bean options: one with fruity notes and the other more chocolatey and nutty. I lean towards the fruity one, while my friend prefers the nutty profile.
📍The Mechanic (Cheras)

A Golden Sea of Treats at Ondo
#kualalumpurguide
If you love the smell of fresh pastries and the sight of shelves lined with golden baked goods, this is your heaven. 65°C Ondo Bakery Café is one of the most impressive bakeries I’ve stepped into in KL—seriously, the selection is huge! Rows and rows of individually packed buns, cookies, pastries, and pineapple cakes fill the air with a buttery aroma that’s impossible to resist.
What caught my eye the most were the Pandan Pineapple Cookies and the classic buttery milk pastries. Everything’s so well-organized, from the snack baskets to the gift box section, it almost felt like walking through a luxury food gallery.
Sweet Heaven in Cheras – 65c Ondo Is a Must-Visit!
#kualalumpurguide
During my Kuala Lumpur food hunt, I found this beautiful gem in Cheras called 65c Ondo. The moment I walked in, I was amazed by the display of cakes and pastries – each one looked like a piece of art. I tried a slice of their strawberry shortcake and it was soft, creamy, and not overly sweet – just how I like it!
What made this place even better was the cozy Japanese-style vibe and friendly staff. The selection of drinks, canned treats, and artisan bakes made me want to buy everything! If you're someone who loves pastries and pretty desserts, this is a café you don’t want to miss.
Cute Cakes & Cool Corners in KL
#kualalumpurtrip
While café hopping in KL, I stumbled upon this modern little spot with neat white tables, cute shelf displays, and lots of natural lighting. The shelves even had tiny cakes and figures that made the space feel playful and unique.
I ordered the Earl Grey lemon cake and a passionfruit sparkling soda. The cake was fluffy with just the right amount of tea and citrus flavor, and the soda was fruity, cold, and slightly fizzy—so refreshing! It’s the perfect stop for cake lovers who enjoy a calm and pretty space to relax.
Cakes, Clouds & Creative Corners
#kualalumpurtrip
One of my favorite café moments during my KL trip was sitting by the window at this cute spot. There was a little cloud-shaped light, some dried flowers, and plenty of natural sunshine pouring in—it was the kind of aesthetic that instantly lifts your mood.
I enjoyed a slice of Earl Grey lemon cake with a passionfruit sparkling soda, and both looked as good as they tasted. The cake had a rich tea flavor balanced with lemony freshness, while the drink was fruity and fun. Perfect for a solo café date with a book or just some quiet time.
