I stayed at a wonderful hotel in Sejong, Korea! It's a very luxurious hotel and it's only been open for 4 months✨ As of October 18, 2023 The room is also very luxurious and you can stay very comfortably! Taean Hanmaum Ocean Place is a place where you can feel the camping feeling while looking at the ocean. There is a trampoline pool in the place, so it would be good for a family trip, and there is the nearby Sinduri Beach Sand Dune! 📍 20-23 Barun Coffee Ram, Daedeok 1-ro 1-gil, Dangjin-si, Chungnam I stopped by to rent a picnic set before going to Agroland, and it's a good place to rent a picnic set like me or drink coffee inside! The specialty here is the real donut.. It has a lot of filling and is chewy.. I don't like green tea, but this one was delicious! Cheongnamdae, the presidential villa. A truly enormous space was used as the presidential villa. A huge lake and mountains are all villa areas. It was opened to the public during the Roh Moo-hyun presidency in 2003, and it feels like time traveling back 20-30 years. [Munsusa Temple, where king cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom together] There are two places in Seosan that are famous for king cherry blossoms. One is Gaesimsa Temple and the other is Munsusa Temple. Munsusa Temple, in particular, has a path where azaleas and king cherry blossoms bloom together, so it is a great place to take pretty pictures! I also visited Munsusa Temple, but I visited 2-3 days later than the full bloom of king cherry blossoms, so the buds were just starting to grow! But I was still able to get some pretty pictures : ) The flowers will probably fall after this week, so if you are planning to visit, I recommend that you hurry! Kinda spooky, kinda magical. You walk through this tunnel-like entrance and bam, shrine spaces, glowing lights, and cool air that hits different. There’s even this big stone carving of Gwanseeum-bosal inside and a little area for the Dragon King, which adds to the whole mystical feel. The main hall is set against a cliff, and there’s a stream nearby with a rock shaped like a tiger. Super random, super cool. It’s not crowded at all, which means you can take your time, breathe in some fresh mountain air, and just chill. Free entry, easy parking, and great for photos. #summervacay Yeonginsan wasn’t even on my original plan, I just saw the name on a map and thought, “sure, why not?” Best random decision ever. It’s in Chungcheongnam-do, and the vibe is total calm-in-the-forest energy. The trail is super manageable, nothing too intense, but enough to make you feel like you did something. Trees everywhere, birds doing their thing, and the occasional surprise bench that feels like a gift from the hiking gods. Also, the air? Crisp like a fresh apple. Loved that for me. Once you get up higher, the views open up and, you’re looking at mountain layers, little towns way below, and clouds drifting like lazy cotton candy. I literally sat on a rock for 20 minutes doing nothing but vibing. Hardly any people, which made it feel kinda personal. Just me, the trail, and a bag of snacks I definitely overpacked. Yeonginsan is that underrated, peaceful getaway. No drama, just good hikes and better views. Would 100% go again.

#summervacay So Oseosan wasn’t even on my radar. I just saw a sign, had time to kill, and thought “why not?” Next thing I know, I’m halfway up a mountain, mildly sweating and extremely impressed. It’s in Chungcheongnam-do, kind of lowkey, but seriously worth the climb. The hike isn’t brutal, but it does make you work a bit, just enough to earn your snack break at the top. The views though? Total stunner. Ocean on one side, mountains on the other, wind in your face like nature’s high-five. There were barely any other people around, which made it feel super personal, just me, the trees, and a random dog I saw halfway up (no idea where it came from, but it looked like it knew the trail better than I did). Zero regrets. It’s one of those places you randomly end up at and then talk about for weeks. If you’re anywhere near the area, Oseosan is 100% worth the detour.

#summervacay Visited Gongsanseong Fortress in Buyeo and honestly, it was way cooler than I expected. This place is like a giant open-air museum with serious royal vibes. You’re literally walking along the old fortress walls where Baekje kings once strolled, how wild is that? The path takes you through peaceful forest trails, old palace sites, and views that just get better the higher you go. There’s this mix of nature and history that makes the whole walk super calming.
