Clovelly Walk Review 🌤️
Clovelly was one of the neighborhoods that came to mind when I wanted to quietly enjoy the ocean in Sydney. The walking path is cutely organized, and the beach is not large, but it gives off a cozy and stable atmosphere. Even though it was the weekend, there weren't many people, so it was nice to walk leisurely.
The sound of the waves was calm, and the color of the ocean was clear and deep, so it was refreshing to the eyes as I walked. There were locals walking their dogs or having picnics with their children along the road. It was a place where I didn't have to do anything in particular, and it was a place where I could heal just by sitting on a bench by the sea and blankly staring.

#JuneTravelSupport Clovelly Walk Review 🌊
Clovelly is a place that feels particularly cozy and neat among Sydney's coastal areas. It doesn't have a long beach or big stores, but that's what makes this neighborhood so charming. As you walk along the quiet seaside, the sound of water and the passing time become calmer.
Low rocks and lawns naturally connect to the sea, so it's nice to sit and rest anywhere, and the transparent sea spreads out endlessly in front of you. It's a place where you can walk without planning, stop, and start walking again. People passing by are also quiet, so it was great for spending time alone.

Clovelly was the perfect neighborhood when you wanted to take a quiet walk along the sea. It wasn't as crowded as a tourist destination, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful because the locals came out for a walk or a quiet rest. The coastal walkway was wide and well-maintained, so it was perfect for a light walk while exercising.
As you walked, the lawn, rocks, and the beach naturally connected, and there were many benches to sit on here and there, so it was nice to rest while looking at the sea. You could hear the sound of water up close, and the breeze passing by was cool, so it was a place where you felt good even if you didn't do anything in particular.
It was a really nice neighborhood to cool your head in a calm landscape.

ClovellyWalkReview 🌊
Clovelly was the first neighborhood that came to mind when I wanted to feel a quiet beach atmosphere in Sydney. It had a different sense of peace from the crowded Bondi and Coogee, and my heart felt calm as I walked. The beach road was well-maintained, making it easy to walk, and there were rocks and lawns facing the sea along the road.
Most people were quietly walking, sitting on rocks reading books, or just staring blankly at the sea, so the overall scenery was quiet. The sea breeze was moderately cool, and the water was clear, so I could see far into the distance.
It was a quiet but neatly beautiful beach.

#JuneTravelSupport Clovelly Walk Review 🐚☀️
Among the beaches in Sydney, **Clovelly** was the quietest and most cozy. It wasn't as fancy as Bondi, but it was a really relaxing neighborhood with not too many people, so it was a great place to heal.
There was a neatly maintained walking path along the coastline where you could walk slowly, and there were benches here and there where you could look down at the ocean, so it was perfect for sitting and staring blankly. The water was clear and the waves were calm, so it was a great atmosphere for walking alone or having a quiet conversation.
There was also a small beach where you could walk right up to the ocean, and when you sit on a rock and look out at the ocean, it felt like time had stopped. It was a better walking course because it felt like local people were quietly enjoying their time rather than feeling like a tourist destination.
📍 Address: Clovelly NSW 2031, Australia
🕒 Recommended time: 10am ~ 2pm (a good time to enjoy the sunshine and hear the sound of the waves)

🏝 Clovelly Neighborhood Review (Sydney)
Clovelly is a small, quiet coastal town located on the eastern end of Sydney. It is more like a residential area where local residents live quietly rather than a tourist attraction. It has a generally quiet atmosphere, so it doesn’t feel crowded or commercialized, and most people walk or jog along the coastal cliffs.
The main beach, Clovelly Beach, is not deep and the waves are very weak, so it is popular with families with children and beginners in snorkeling. It has a different atmosphere from other beaches due to the unique terrain of artificial structures and rocks. The downside is that the sandy beach area is narrow and the natural feeling is a bit lacking.
There are small craft burger restaurants like Out of the Blue and brunch cafes like Huxton’s nearby, so it is suitable for a short stay and leisurely enjoyment. However, public transportation access is not very good, so if you have a lot of luggage or are staying for a long time, using a car is practically essential.
Overall, it is a neighborhood recommended for those who want to feel the sea of Sydney without any fuss.

🥐 Tuga Pastries – Exploring Sydney’s Clovelly Dessert Mecca
While walking around Clovelly, I saw a line of locals and randomly went into a bakery called Tuga Pastries. It looks like a small and simple neighborhood bakery from the outside, but the taste is anything but ordinary.
Their signature menu, **Portuguese Egg Tart (Pastel de Nata)**, is the epitome of “soft on the outside and soft on the inside”! The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and the sweet custard melts your tongue. It’s freshly baked, so it’s still warm, so I went crazy from the first bite.
In addition, they have a variety of financiers, croissants, and donuts, and they’re all delicious. However, they sell out quickly, so if you want a specific type of bread, you must visit in the morning!
The store is small and has only a few tables, but it’s perfect for a cup of coffee along the alley. I really felt the Sydney vibe with the egg tart in one bite while feeling the warm sea breeze.
📍 Location: In a quiet alley on Clovelly Road
⏰ Hours: 7am - 3pm (Beware, they sell out fast!)
💡 Tip: Go early to get the popular menu!

🥐 Review of Tuga Pastries Clovelly
Tuga Pastries, hidden in a local alley in Clovelly, is a Portuguese-style bakery that feels like a real ‘hidden restaurant’. The exterior is small, but the smell of the bread exudes a sense of presence!
The most famous menu is, of course, Pastel de Nata! When you take a bite, sweet and rich custard spreads smoothly between the crispy pastry. It doesn’t have too much sugar, so it goes well with Americano✨
The croissant I ordered together was also crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, so I was very satisfied, and the brioche donut was covered in sugar on the outside and filled with soft dough on the inside, making it a heaven for dessert lovers.
The interior is small with only a few tables, so takeout is more suitable. It’s crowded with locals in the morning, so it’s better to go a little early!
📍 Location: It’s in the center of Clovelly Rd, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the beach, so it’s perfect for enjoying dessert while feeling the sea breeze.
☕ Summary
• Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
• Atmosphere: Local, clean
• Willingness to revisit: 100%
• Recommended menu: Pastel de nata, brioche donut

I was much more satisfied than I expected! I ordered ‘Crab Linguine’, and it was full of really fresh crab meat🦀✨

When I sat down, the blue ocean view spread out in front of me… This is almost healing itself💙
The coffee also exceeded my expectations! The beans were rich and clean, so it was perfect for a sip while looking at the beach☕
The store is not big, but there are many large windows, so it doesn’t feel stuffy, and the staff were all friendly, so I felt good😊
