Every year, a wine festival is held in Cochem, Germany, on the last weekend of August. The day we went happened to be the last day! Another advantage of summer travel is the weather will be warm, there will be sunny days and the town will be more lively. Cochem is also known for festivals from time to time. During my stop in August I had the first hand experience of Cochem Castle Festival. At that time the vineyard trips were fun. My main purpose of Cochem trip was a solid base for Rhine and moselle.
