Dense trees line both sides of the road, and the air is fresh. Soon, you will see a stone archway with a plaque embedded that reads "Sacred Site of Taoism in Southern Sichuan." There is also a national key cultural relic protection unit marker by the roadside, inscribed with "Zhenwu Mountain Ancient Architecture Complex." Passing through the archway, continue up the mountain road to reach this ancient architectural complex. This is the back door of the Taoist temple, so you will see the backs of the buildings. Passing through the middle, you arrive at the main entrance, where there is a life-release pond. Turning right from here is the Wenchang Palace, which is under renovation. Not far ahead, I saw a steep staircase leading to a secret place in the mountain forest. Climbing the stairs, I arrived at this secret place, which turned out to be Qianfo Temple, named after the Qianfo Terrace. The Qianfo Terrace was first built during the Tang Dynasty and has been rebuilt and maintained through successive generations. The terrace is over three zhang (about 9.9 meters) high, with one side against the cliff and three sides standing upright. It features 1,131 stone Buddha reliefs, hence the name. Huang Tingjian once left a poem here: "The mountain surrounds the tower with evening bells and drums, deep in Cuiping lies the ancient Zen gate." I originally thought I could go directly up the mountain from Qianfo Temple, but after exploring the temple, I couldn’t find a path up the mountain. So I went back down to the green trail and continued forward to look for Nezha Palace. Nezha Palace is located similarly to Qianfo Temple, also built halfway up the mountain, requiring climbing high stairs. Inside the palace is the Crown Prince Hall, and the main attraction is Nezha Cave. Legend has it that after Nezha "returned his bones to his father and flesh to his mother," his spirit appeared in a dream to his mother, Lady Yin. To allow him to enjoy offerings from the living, she carved a cave here, made a golden statue, and built the palace.
