#timetotravel When you have the chance to spend some time in Pretoria I definitely recommend you to check out the Union Buildings with their beautiful public gardens and surroundings. We went there around five in the afternoon and the lighting was perfect. Afterwards we walked around the area and watched many locals play football and rugby. Fountain Valley Resort, in Pretoria South Africa, such a beautiful place filled with statues of phenomenal struggle heroes and heroines. So much history to be enjoyed, and you get to understand what the country went through. It is a fun place to go to as a family, and you can take your friends there as well, it has a swimming pool, berbecue place, picnic spots where you can relax under the tree close to nature and take it all in. Be sure to visit this place, when visiting Pretoria, it os mind blowing.

Church Square Church Square, originally Market Square, is the square at the historic centre of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. The square's most prominent feature is the statue of the late Boer leader and president of the South African Republic . This place is lovely to see but didn’t feel particularly safe to walk around alone. There were a lot of loiterers making it feel unsafe however the architecture was amazing to see #wintergetaway

When you have the chance to go to Church Square I would recommend you to go but you have to be careful. Generally you should not go out at night and also not out alone at all. We visited the Blyde lagoon at the Willows , Pretoria East for a month. They're building a hotel in front of the lagoon adjacent to a wonderful restaurant . The security and staff really make a people feel like that they don't belong there constantly telling where you can't go, can't sit , must wear shoes around the pool, etc but we made the best of the situation.
