Hiking in Austria
Austria is a great place for hiking. This time, we introduce hiking in the Dachstein mountain area. The Dachstein mountain range is located in central Austria and offers magnificent scenery. You can take a bus from Hallstatt to get there. The hiking here is not difficult; you can take a cable car first and then hike in the Dachstein mountain area. It's truly stunning, with views of forests and lakes, allowing you to experience the grandeur and tranquility of nature.

From Obertraun, it takes about 10 minutes by bus to Five Fingers
There are two cable cars to Five Fingers.
When I visited around 2pm on Sunday, I was able to use it without waiting.
I waited for the cable car for about 8 minutes and it seems to be frequent.

This is where you have to take the cable car to get to the Five Fingers Observatory. I didn't know which ticket to buy, so I just bought a panorama ticket and went. It takes 50 minutes just to get to Five Fingers. (20 minutes by cable car, 30 minutes on foot to the observatory) Please refer to the schedule carefully and go! #MayTravelSupportEvent

The small building that serves as the Dachstein Information Center and ticket office sells various types of tickets to suit the tastes of travelers. Most travelers choose the Summitticket, which allows access to the entire cable car section for 26 euros per person, and the DachsteinSalzkammergut ticket, which includes cable car sections 1 and 2 and a tour of the Ice Cave or Mammoth Cave for 37 euros per person.
