#timetotravel This is Osmena Peak in Cebu and it is one of the most famous trekking sites in Cebu as it is not that hard to trek which is prefect for beginners. From the jump off point to the view point it won't even take you an hour. Just go on your own pace. This is the reason why I said that this is a fun trekking because the trail isn't even that hard plus the scenic views are breathtaking too. Entrance Fee: 30 pesos per head which you have to pay at the hiker's center. It is really worth it especially if you are going on a nice day and even better during sunrise or sunset! #timetotravel This is located in Mananggal Dalaguete Cebu. This beach is by the road where only boats and fishermen you'll see. As we passed this road going to Dalaguete town, we wanted to try swimming there since the sunset view was magnificent! My husband went snorkeling and I was enjoying this view. When my husband finished his snorkeling time, he was so happy and I wonder why. Guess what? he saw a huge sea turtle in this area and he was so star struck because it was bigger than what he saw in Moalboal. Besides that, there were locals there too who got some fresh fish and they did "kinilaw" which was really nice. Good experience!! #seaview #sunset #beach #dalaguete #cebuphilippines

#timetotravel I am from Cebu and I never thought that Dalaguete has beautiful beaches. As we explore Casay Dalaguete where the popular beach park is, we thought why not explore the whole town and see what we are going to find. We were riding our motorbike around and found this other side of the beach park which is free to use. When we arrived at this place only fishermen were there. I guess, this is fishermen area. It's a very secluded place in Dalaguete we just asked the locals where are the other access to the beach. And Yes! this place is amazing.. It's peaceful! You get to enjoy the scenery, get some ray of sunshine, appreciate nature’s beauty while still relaxing at your own dome. All room bookings come with a complimentary breakfast. Glamping tents start at around a hundred for 4. It was really worth the price. So if you plan on what to do the next time you visit Cebu, try travelling South. Overall, the experience was truly great!

Not sure if this was the hardest but probably one of the best. I recommend this for a weekend getaway. Be sure to wear your best footwear as the trail can be slippery. The Enchanted Mountain is a resort located in the highland of Brgy Panas Road, Dalaguete, Cebu, Philippines. It is the best all year round getaway in the Southern part of Cebu. The resort is artistically landscaped to depict a fantasy-themed environment. There’s a huge castle visible upon approaching the resort that seemed to house mystery and magic. There’s a pool in front of this edifice perfectly positioned to suit your Instagram and Facebook posts. Before you take a deep plunge in its cold waters, you can wander around the area first and marvel at the beautiful scenery. There are colors everywhere and huge statues of mystical figures. A 3-hour drive away from the city, this place is the best destination if you want to have peace of mind and get the chance to unwind. Driving south to Mantalongon, Dalaguete seem to be forever and the road was not so good but when you reach the place, it is all worth it. Be ready with your pajamas and coats for those who easily feel cold during the night. Aside from the lovely view, the food was great and the service was also superb. Be sure to book ahead because they get fully booked most of the time, even exclusively blocked for most of the days. It was fun trekking in Dalaguete, Cebu, Philippines. We climbed Kandungaw Peak, Buwis-buhay Peak, Sunset Peak and Osmeña Peak. Our call time is at 4:30 am but then we arrived at the pick up location at around 5 am hahaha filipino time i guess. We departed at 5:30 bound to Southern part of Cebu. Arrived at Dalaguete at around 7 am and had our breakfast in a Carenderia in the town. After breakfast, we decided to start of trek. We are all excited and can’t wait to experience climbing 4 peaks. Honestly, it’s my first time trekking so I’m kinda nervous and excited at the same time. My friends and I really love adventure. Osmeña peak (aka O peak) is one of the famous tourist attractions in Cebu situated in Mantalongon, Dalaguete. It is the highest peak in Cebu but if you are not the type who likes adventure or mountaineering, do not worry, since it just take a 30 minute hike to reach the peak. It is a 4 hour bus ride from the city proper. Upon reaching the bus drop-off point at Dalaguete, you need to ride a motorcycle (aka habal-habal) which will take you to the jump-off point. Upon registration, you need to pay 50 pesos per head and 100 pesos per tent if you bring your own tent and opt for an overnight stay. They will also require you to have a tour guide (minimum rate is 100 pesos but you can tip bigger amount if you feel generous). Most tourists opt for just a day hike, but if you want to marvel at the beauty of sunrise, then I recommend for an overnight stay to witness the beautiful sunrise the following day. Osmeña Peak is one of the amazing nature wonders that a traveller will always wanted! After almost an hour bike ride from Badian, where we stayed, the bum hurts a bit. After parking the bikes road side, a steepish but not at all strenuous 30 min hike, climbing to the top, the views all over the island are more than rewarding. Many young and even older Filipino folks were climbing and hiking the peak, too, which is THE landmark of southern Cebu Island. It was an amazing experience, which I would do again and again, next time in Cebu. It is also a great activity for those who are based in Moalboal. #hiking#camping

In the small town of Alegria in the Philippines, I woke at 3 am, gathered my gear and met our driver at the front of our hostel. For 500 Pesos per person or $10 USD we had a return trip to Osmeña Peak, the tallest peak on Cebu. The three of us crammed onto the habal-habal, which was easy on the wallet but incredibly uncomfortable on the butt cheeks. If you are a budget traveler it will be your only choice from Alegria when looking to hike Osmeña Peak, but if you have the cash rent a car or get some other way up there! Book a tour: You can do it DIY like me but there is a really good tour you can book as well. Osmeña peak

This is an easy trek with unbelievable view on top! For non-experienced climber like me, it really is a great achievement to say that I am able to climb Osmena Peak, which is incidentally the highest peak in the province of Cebu. From airport, we went directly to the peak. You need to get a guide in order to climb it. The local guide is quite friendly and took lots of great pictures of us. You can also rent bamboo walking sticks to help with your balancing. #givethanks #givethanks

Osmeña Peak is the highest mountain in Cebu. I was not able to feel the heat of the sun because of the cold atmosphere. Being said as the highest mountain, it is not that hard though to climb on top because mostly you will just ride a motorcycle or what the locals refer to as 'habal-habal'. 📍Zero-x cafe While studying abroad in Cebu, I went to a cafe near the school where I was studying abroad🍽️ The location is near a large circular intersection called "Fuente Osmeña Circle" in Cebu city. I visited the cafe shortly after it opened, so the interior was very clean and had a calm atmosphere🌿 What impressed me the most was the deliciousness of the food🤤 While studying abroad in Cebu, I wasn't able to eat much food that suited my taste, but the menu here includes Japanese and Korean food, and they were all really delicious!
