St. Joseph Cathedral is one of the biggest and oldest churches in Bataan. The church is located in front of Balanga Municipal Hall. Most of the people gathered here because it is the center place of Balanga, Bataan Balanga Cathedral, formally known as Diocesan Shrine and Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph in Balanga, Bataan, is the seat of the Diocese of Balanga which comprises entire of the civil province of Bataan. The locals there is very accomodating and they also offer paluto foods so you can just bring the ingredients and cook it there. The museum was built as a tribute to our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in 1942. It showcases tragic tidbits about the mentioned war, specially the horrendous Bataan Death March where thousands of Filipino and American soldiers perished. Juness Beach Resort - Nagbalayong, Morong Bataan My family and I were looking for a beach resort that’s available for december 23-24. Ako yung assigned na maghanap at magbook ng resort and mejo marami na rin akong tinignan pero mahirap na maghanap kasi halos lahat fully booked na. Alexa waterpark resort just popped up from my newsfeed and nung nagchat ako sa kanila mabilis sila nagrerespond and nabanggit nila na for daytour lang daw sila and if overnight daw ang hanap, sister resort nila yung Juness beach resort. So we ended up booking in Juness beach resort. Napakaaccomodating ng kausap ko nung nagbbook ako. Pwede kayo magask which rooms are available via call. Then you may check their rooms and rates sa website nila. Hindi ako nagbased sa website nila sa available rooms. Nagtanong talaga ako via call kung ano pwede ibook then bigay nyo lang name nyo and fb name tapos aantayin ka nila for your payment #staycation #campingglamping nagpay. Sa pagtravel from manila to juness, inabot kami ng 3 and 1/2 hrs. May 2 checkpoints kaming dinaanan and need lang pakita screenshot ng booking confirmation from juness beach. Sesend ito ng juness sa email nyo after nyo magpay. Sa food may menu sila na nakalagay sa website kung ano yung nandun, yung na rin yung menu talaga sa resort. Ang masasabi ko lang super sarap ng food nila. Maffeel mo na ginawa yung food nila with love. Nasurpass ng food nila yung expectations ko. Hindi siya tulad ng sineserve sa ibang resort na may maserve lang basta basta. Yung sinigang nila hindi gawa sa powder! Lunch and dinner sinigang kinain ko kasi sarap talaga. Si kuya erwin yung chef nila dati daw sa resort sa coron palawan nagluluto rin sya. Super bait! Super sarap ng food! Yung staff hindi tinipid. Malinis talaga yung rooms kasi marami silang staff. Friendly rin yung staff. Si chef erwin nakipagkwentuhan pa samin during his freetime. Yung resort walang tao masyado and super lawak at haba ng shoreline (pls check photos). Halos kami lang tao talaga. Nitry rin namin magpipinsan yung sister company ng juness w/c is Alexa waterpark. 5 min. walk sya from juness and ayon kami lang rin tao sa buong resort. tigiisa kaming lifeguard ng mga pinsan ko hahaha. Pag summer daw bus bus daw tourists don pero at that time kaming 6 lang magpipinsan sa sbuong resort. In terms of activities naman yung pawikan conservatory lang meron sa kanila w/c is 5 min walk from juness beach. Yung parents ko nakatry magpakawala ng newly hatched turtles. Hindi ko nakita kasi hindi ako sumama maglakad lakad. If want nyo magbangka, pwede ata basta itanong nyo lang sila if available ba yung bangkero (di ko to sure kasi naoverhear ko lang to kila kuya erwin nung nagkkwentuhan sila). Other amenities: Ganda ng room! super solid! Malaki beds. Hindi tinipid sa twalya kada room. May wifi pero mejo mahina yung signal. Pag nanghingi ka ng coffee cup/ baso/ etc very accomodating sila. Mt Samat and the Dambana ng Kagitingan is the biggest and main historical attraction in Bataan Philippines with a nice war museum. The place was built to honor Filipino and American soldiers who fought the Japanese army during World War ll. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway

Philippines is a very historical country. And the City of Balanga is one which has the most in terms of memories during the start of Japanese era. This museum displays some of the things that were used during the World War 2. The last photo is my photo with one of the WW2 veteran who my Aunt is working for as a caregiver. #wintergetaway
