MASASA BEACH - The best beach in Luzon, Philippines!
Masasa Beach is arguably the best beach in Tingloy, the only municipality in Batangas that is not on mainland Luzon. Its main island is the fish-shaped Maricaban, off the tip of Calumpang Peninsula separating Balayan Bay from Batangas Bay.
The truth is, the sand here isn’t as pearly white as what you would expect in Boracay or Palawan, but what Masasa Beach lacks in the brightness of its sand it makes up for in the vibrance of waves. Its crystal clear, shallow waters give off a beautiful turquoise shimmer, something that will catch your attention even from a great distance.

A safe place to Escape ❤️🌊
Welcome to city of beautiful beaches, Batangas!
It is truly a blessing to experience going to Masasa beach, located in Tingloy, Batangas. This beach is located in a center island and you need to take a Passenger boat which I find it exciting.
What I really like to this place is that a lot of activities that you can do fo an affordable prices. Aside from that, you will find life guards and security personnel everywhere in the sea.
I would recommend this beach to everyone who wants to experience a safe vacation.

From Manila, Tagaytay to Taal Lake.
I'm sharing my experience of traveling freely from Manila to Taal Lake. The first bus from Manila to Tagaytay was at 4 AM. It took more than 2 hours to get to Tagaytay. After getting off the bus, I had breakfast at a nearby McDonald's, and then took a tricycle from Tagaytay to Talisay. A tricycle costs 250 pesos. I stayed in Talisay for 2 nights and visited Taal Lake. Since the eruption of Taal Volcano in 2020, entry to Taal Volcano is still prohibited, so you have to be satisfied with taking a boat and touring around Taal Volcano for about an hour. #Taal Lake #

LIAN SHRINE: STORY OF ST. JOHN IN SCULPTURES
Popular devotions revolve around Lian, town in Batangas which is about 53.8 kms away from Tagaytay City via Tagaytay, Nasugbu Hwy for an hour and a half travel by private car. This devotion is to St. John the Baptis8t which is the patron saint of Lian Church and is declared archdiocesan shrine in 2011. I took this time to visit to pay respect to the patron and for the first time I see a lot of sculptures depicting the life story of St. John the Baptist from conception to death. No church in the Philippines you can see such depiction of his life story. It is worth visiting for learning, devotion and spiritual replenishment. Come and see the Precursor of the Lord. Spending half day for travel and devotion is enough then exploring Matabungkay Beach in Lian is a good experience of baptism in the sea with John the Baptizer. The best time also to visit Lian is on every May 18 celebrating Balsa festival (bamboo beach raft festival). #celebratewithtrip#mytripvlog#tripblazers#awesomepic#shrine#pilgrimage#religious tourism

BALAYAN CHURCH: FEELING NOSTALGIC
Travelling from Manila to Tagaytay City to Balayan Church in Balayan, Batangas via SLEX, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road and Tagaytay-Nasugbu Hwy is almost 120.5 kms for almost 3 hours of private van ride. Balayan came from the word "Balai" which means house or "Balayang" which means wood. As i stepped on the grounds of Balayan I felt nostalgic as if i am connected in the past of its old history. And as I entered the church of the Immaculate Conception, with its baroque architectural style, that powerful sentimental feeling came over me-with its thick walls, high facades, massive bell tower which give grandiosity, drama and emotional upliftment on my spirit. The church is made up of coral, wood and bricks. Yes, it is a little bit far from Manila but if you are staying in Tagaytay City it is only about an hour and half travel time for a half day experience of nostalgia for a tourist and pilgrim. By the way, this is a National Cultural Treasure by Heritage Designation in 2001. June 24 is the best time to enjoy Lechon Festival. Underrated by now but a must SEE!#celebratewithtrip #mytripvlog#tripblazers#awesomepic#national treasure #historical church
LIPA CARMEL: A PILGRIM DESTINATION
For the driving directions to Lipa City, Batangas, head towards SLEX and enter Star Toll and exit at Bulihan. The Monastery of Carmel in Lipa City is located along P. Torres Street, 4217 Lipa City. It is about 82 kms drive from Manila for an hour and half without traffic. I come here as a pilgrim and curious about the supposed shower of rose petals dated back 1948 where image of Jesus and Mary were imprinted in the petals. I visited the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the garden where she is supposed to appear and spent moment of silence. The place was declared by a proclamation as "center of celebration as National Day of Prayer" every September 12. True enough, for those tourists who would like to experience a real rest from the busy days, Lipa carmel is a pilgrim destination- a cultural and tourist attraction. It was a memorable divine encounter. Come and see! #celebratewithtrip#mytripvlog#tripblazers#pilgrimage
LIPA CATHEDRAL: A ROMANESQUE CHURCH
At the very heart of Batangas is the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian known as Lipa Cathedral in C.M. Recto Ave, G. Solis St., Lipa City. From Tagaytay City, I took a private car via Talisay which is about 47 kms away and I travelled approximately 1 hour and 15 mins. Inside the church with its architectural design of thick, huge and heavy columns, with circular dome ceilings, giant walls surrounded by arches that make this church qualifies as Romanesque church of the Renaissance style. Plus factor is the paintings on the ceilin. This is really a noteworthy of stop as part of my vacation with learning on culture, arts and religion.

TAAL BASILICA: ASIA'S BIGGEST CATHOLIC CHURCH
#celebratewithtrip
From Tagaytay City via Nasugbu Highway and Diokno Hwy/Payapa Road, we travelled by our private car to Minor Basilica of St. Martin of Tours in Calle San Martin, Poblacion, Taal, Batangas. Our travel time for an hour is about 42.2 kms away. It was a day of worhip that made us decide to attend services to Taal Basilica which is the biggest Catholic church in Asia and a National Historical Landmark. According to our tourist guide, the church measures 88.6 meters long and 48 meters wide. We did our day of obligation and at the same time enjoyed our travel with learning in history and culture of Batangas.

🚣 Floating Cottages
One of the most unique sea adventure experiences I've had. The best time of the day is between 12 noon to 3 in the afternoon. After that, the floating cottages are crowing the docking areas.
🍲 Sea Urchin snack
If you're adventurous, this one's a must try! I won't give you any spoilers as for the taste but you better bring vinegar to taste 😉

Trip to the new and improved Batangas Port!
This is my first time seeing the new and improved Batangas Port in Batangas, Philippines!
If you are travelling in MIMAROPA region, the port of entry of everyone is the Batangas Port.
I can not believe the huge improvement of this port from what I remember years before pandemic.
The security is digital, smooth transactions and clear line of queue for the ticketing booths, shops where you can buy your essentials (i am just looking for pharmacy but i can not find one). Restroom are spacious and bidet is provided. There is also a prayer room inside the boarding area. Most of all, I love that the new batangas port is airconditoned and wifi is very fast (free for 1 hour of use).
Go and see the new and improved Batangas Port!

ISLA VERDE, BATANGAS, PHILIPPINES
Address - Isla Verde, Batangas, Philippines.
Since we don't have a private car when visit this place we took a public vehicles. We came from Mandaluyong we rode in a taxi go away to Buendia station locates in Makati and it took 30mins - 1 hour. Then, we rode a bus with a name "Batangas City" Terminal atleast 2-3 hours of travel time and we rode a jeepney after atleast 30 mins ride lastly we rode a bangka I think it is 1 hour travel time. We suggest that much better if you have a private car. Anyways, I remember there is cut off time to use the bangka because there is no electricity in that Island.
Ambiance/Facilities - It is very beautiful and isolated Island because only few tourist are visiting this place. The wave is kinda big and the water is cold. This place is better for snorkeling and scuba diving.
Highlights - The highlights is the beach itself. I am speechless when I saw it. It is like you are inside of the painting. It is very beautiful, the sky is in perfect blue color, the air is very fresh and the water is cold. Perfect place of you wanted a peace of mind. Although, this island is kinda small nad there is no other activities aside from snorkeling ang scuba diving.
Avg. Price per Person - Honestly, I don't remember. Maybe for the whole travel we consume atleast 3k each including the room and the food.
Rating - I will give perfect 10 because you will not forget this beautiful place. #mytripvlog #tripblazers #staycation #summervacation #awesomepic

Hike more! Worry less💕
Explore! Dream! Discover! Taal Volcano, the smallest active volcano in the world. One of the most visited tourist spots in the philippines, this geological wonder is actually a volcano within a lake within a volcano. At Taal Lake you will board a Filipino made motorised outrigger and enjoy a 30 minute boat ride across the lake to the village of Talisay on Volcano Island. Your local guide will lead the trek up towards the rim along black sandy trails with incredible views of the surrounding lake and mountains, you will pass by volcanic steam vents giving off a sulphuric odour before reaching the summit. The views of the Crater Lake and surrounding area are breathtaking and worth every minute of the hike. It was a great experience.

Cintai Corito's Garden
A small version of Bali, Indonesia in this upland lakeside town of Balete, Batangas. A good place for photo shoot. The place is clean and lots of greens. #bucketlistreboot
Basilica of St. Martin de Tours
A stately landmark in Taal town.
It was indeed a great experience as I learned so much in the biggest Catholic church in Asia. Despite many challenges and calamities like massive earthquakes and typhoons, the Basilica of St. Martin de Tours still stands tall.

Batalang Bato, Batangas
Batalang Bato in Mabini Batangas is a charming vacation home rental, good for couples, families and friends, who wants to be surrounded by nature and get some rest and relaxation. With an amazing roof deck with lanterns and a hammock, a beautiful wooden inspired kitchen (they also have a “dirty kitchen” as filipinos would call it), tiny pool, large and comfy beds with air conditioning, kayaks, friendly helpers and a beach front. What else could you ask for? The best part is they welcomed my baby tortoise in their humble beach home. Definitely will be coming back to this beautiful place in the future and a must try for you reading this. ❤
