Cavite, Philippines: A Place Where History and Nature Meet
Cavite is a charming town in the Philippines. It has a rich history and was an important naval base during the Spanish colonial period. The ancient fort ruins stand quietly, as if telling the story of the past wars and the vicissitudes of time. These ruins have now become a precious window for people to trace history.
Cavite's natural scenery is equally charming. It is close to the sea and has a beautiful coastline. The soft beaches and clear waters attract many tourists to enjoy the sun and sand. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life, making it a paradise for diving enthusiasts. The colorful coral reefs and lively tropical fish create a wonderful underwater world.
In the town of Cavite, you can also feel the strong local Filipino cultural atmosphere. The warm and hospitable locals, traditional Filipino architecture, and delicious food such as adobo and grilled chicken exude an enticing aroma. Cavite is like a vivid book, where history, nature, and culture blend together. Every page is filled with unique stories, waiting for tourists to savor and explore.

Cavite, Philippines: A place where history and nature meet.
Cavite, located in the southern part of Luzon Island in the Philippines, is a city full of unique charm. It has a rich historical heritage and was an important stage for Filipino national heroes to resist Spanish colonial rule. Many historical sites have been preserved to this day, such as ancient forts, whose mottled walls seem to silently tell the heroic battles and tenacious struggles of the past, witnessing the arduous journey of the Philippines towards independence.
The natural scenery here is equally charming, with the blue sea and sky complementing each other, and the delicate beaches stretching along the coastline, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The port of Cavite is busy and orderly, with ships coming and going, highlighting its important position in regional trade and transportation. The local cuisine is rich and diverse, blending local characteristics with foreign flavors, from delicious seafood dishes to unique tropical fruit products, each bite brings a different surprise to the taste buds. In addition, the people of Cavite are warm and hospitable, welcoming visitors from afar with bright smiles and simple folk customs, allowing tourists to feel the strong humanistic care and warm friendship while experiencing history and nature.

Trip to Tagaytay, Philippines 🇵🇭
It was a trip to Tagaytay, Philippines. When we visited there, we were blown away by its breathtaking views, cooler climate, and the many picturesque spots perfect for photos 📸
We kicked off our trip at Antonio’s, an iconic restaurant that offers not just delectable food but also a serene view of Taal Lake. Their garden ambiance and rustic interiors make it an ideal spot for those Instagram-worthy breakfast 🍳 shots. We loved their homemade chorizo and fresh coffee ☕️ which made the visit even more special.
📍Aguinaldo Highway, Barangay Neogan, Tagaytay City
We also explored People’s Park in the Sky, an old palace on a hill that offers panoramic views of Taal Volcano 🌋 and the surrounding greenery 🌴 This spot is perfect for both landscape photography and candid shots with the cool breeze in the background.
P/S: Visit mid-morning for the clearest skies ☀️and fewer crowds.
📍Mount Sungay Road, Barangay Dapdap West, Tagaytay City
We also visited Balay Dako and I would highly recommend this place for its authentic Filipino dishes 🥘 and stunning architecture. The view from their terrace overlooking the lake is simply unmatched. Their crispy lechon kawali paired with the refreshing dalandan juice 🥤 was unforgettable💯💯💯
📍Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Barangay Neogan, Tagaytay City
We then visited Twin Lakes, a charming European-inspired community with cobblestone pathways and a vineyard vibe. It’s a perfect place for taking lifestyle shots 📸 while sipping coffee ☕️ at Starbucks with Taal Volcano as your backdrop.
📍Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Barangay Dayap Itaas, Laurel, Batangas
For sunset, we headed to Skyranch, where we enjoyed the rides and took stunning sunset photos from the Ferris wheel. We explored the amusement park as the golden hour bathed the area in soft light, making it a perfect time for pictures. I would recommend trying their Sky Eye for the best aerial views of Tagaytay.
📍Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Tagaytay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick escape filled with great food and beautiful views.

DON JUAN: VALUE FOR MONEY BRUNCH
On the way to Tagaytay City, along Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, I was looking for value for money BRUNCH, I noticed a 220php Bulalo special posted at Don Juan Native and Exotic Restaurant. I must try! It is good the resto has a good parking and the meals are priced very reasonably. I ordered bulalo special and their popular tapsi for only 140 php, and while waiting I ordered french fries for only 120php. The waiter gave me a free Kapeng Barako which is a strong coffee of Batangas. The food is very excellent like in a fine dining restaurant and price is very affordable. The food gives me a positive vibes! #mytripvlog#tripblazers#celebratewithtrip#foodie#urbanexplorer#cafe

SHAMBALA: THE INNER PEACE EXPERIENCE
#celebratewithtrip
It is an hour drive from Manila via SLEX to Shambala Silang, Silang Cavite. I am quite intrigued by the term "shambala" which actually means "a place of peace, tranquility or happiness". As I reached Shambala that was actually what I felt: peace and happiness! As I stepped the grounds, I could feel connection and harmony within me, the environment and the arts in the museum. It is an experienced museum as I stayed in the ifugao nipa huts, living like cordilleran people for an over night. It is really worth experiencing!

Chill moments don’t need to be far from home
If you’re looking for a chill and relaxing stay, Mount Sea Resort is the place to be. This place is warm and cozy, you can’t even feel that you’re in the city. The best thing here is their dining restaurant. Their specialty is the rabbit. It was my first time eating rabbit and I loved it! Other foods on the menu are also good and servings are of decent portions. One more thing, the receptionists and other staff are so nice and attentive to your needs! I highly recommend this place!

Manila Bay Sunset
I never fail to chase sunset in Manila bay every time I travel to Manila. Could not argue that still one of the best sunset destinations in the world. My heart is glad that nowadays visitors there and even locals are more aware in keeping the place clean.

A bad traffic jam is one of the most aggravating things a driver can experience. Sitting there, waiting to move an inch, while the line of cars in front of us extends out as far as the eye can see it’s absolute hell. Here’s the photos of the jam I’ve taken back when we wanted to go to Batangas for a beach trip.

Now it is
Now it is back and has a new location! In the previous years, the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was always held at the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. But this year, it will be in Carmona, Cavite.
The Hot Air Balloon Festival Philippines events will start at 5:30 am but the gates will already be open by 4:30 am. Make sure to catch the Night Glow at 6:30 pm and enjoy the different views and activities until the Fiesta grounds close at 9:30 pm.
You can watch the sunrise and sunset as balloons of all shapes and sizes fly in the air. You can also ride a hot air balloon, defy your fears and try tandem paragliding, attend a seminar in aviation, and eat and shop at the bazaar. And at the end of the day, fireworks are set to cap off.

Come out from the airport, first to the hotel, hyatt Hyatt city of dreams, the name is full of dreams.
Tomorrow morning, I will go to the airport (Manila) and fly to Tagbilaran (Mint). So I feel very good about my choice. It is only ten minutes from the airport. I dont have to work hard to toss myself early.
Simple placement, the friends are hungry, we are going to eat an 80-year-old restaurant.

#2024mapped Went to the Philippines for the month of October, I stayed for 3 weeks and did not regret it! Staying for those 3 weeks gave me air to breathe and just refresh my mind. The scenery and food places I got to eat at were definitely worth visiting! All the food was filled with savory flavors that is a must try and will have you missing it. (cause i’m missing it so much right now!) The people were just always filled with laughter and kindness, really made me feel welcomed. Being away from the Philippines for 5 years really made me realize how much I missed the motherland and would definitely visit again! ❤️
