We had a short stay in Jakarta for one night, and my husband chose Konko Hostel Jakarta mainly because of its super convenient location. It's very close to the train station, which was perfect for our early morning train ride the next day. But once we entered the room, we were really shocked! This room is definitely the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There's almost no extra space to move around. Once we opened our suitcase, there was no room to walk. Although the room is tiny, it has all the basic amenities and is quite clean. If you're just looking for a place to sleep for a short overnight stay, it's acceptable. This hostel is suitable for short stays, especially for those who need to catch a train. Park Hyatt Jakarta Review: An Underrated Luxury Experience 🌆The hotel is located in Jakarta. Although the infrastructure of this city is similar to that of a third-tier city, with few high-rise buildings and many dilapidated small houses, Park Hyatt Hotel stands out. When the vehicle turns into the hotel's private residence area, a special person conducts a car inspection, and you instantly feel like you are in a movie scene. After getting off the car, the concierge arranges security checks and leads you to the front desk to check in (CI). The service is attentive throughout the process, providing towels and welcome drinks. After the check-in is completed, they also help carry the luggage to the room, introduce the room facilities, and place the luggage. 🛏️Room type/layout: This time I stayed in Room 2705, a suite with a view of the National Monument, which was upgraded from a king room without any extra communication. The layout is reasonable, the high-rise city view is excellent, and the monument can be seen at the corner. The hotel was built less than a year ago and is very new. The design of the public area and the room is unique. The black matte design breaks the traditional marble style, and the combination of wooden tables and lamps shows the texture. The super long wooden table further enhances the overall hardware level. The design is far superior to Park Hyatt Beijing and Park Hyatt Guangzhou, and it is very photogenic. 🛌Supplies/facilities: The minibar is rich and varied, and the coffee capsules are well-stocked. The bathroom uses Le Labo 22, which is of guaranteed quality. Although there was a plane flying over in the middle of the night, the hotel prepared earplugs in advance. Although the soundproofing has minor flaws, the attentive service makes up for it. The room is clean, the bed is tidy, and the facilities are brand new. 🍽️Dining experience: - Hotel breakfast: A wide variety of options and meticulous service. The breakfast area adopts an open kitchen design, where the chef cooks on-site, and guests can also help themselves. It is a semi-buffet style, and the menu mainly consists of eggs and skewers. It incorporates many Park Hyatt Jakarta elements and has a great texture. However, the fruit is not sweet enough. - In-room dining: Although ordering is a bit inconvenient, the Wagyu M5 ribeye is of excellent quality and worth a try. The juice is recommended to be honeydew, which is fragrant. The cost for two people is USD 100 (including a large steak). Remember to confirm the tax-inclusive price in advance. 💁Service and overall evaluation: The hotel service is excellent, the staff is proactive and enthusiastic, and the service standard is very high. It must be the best local service staff who can work here. The hotel is currently rated C4, but I think it should be rated C5. It is a seriously underrated landmark building. The welcome gift includes a fruit basket and a welcome cake. The mangosteen in the fruit basket is delicious, but other fruits are slightly inferior. I was also invited to the social hour at the bar from 5 to 7 pm that night and was given a double breakfast. 💰Per capita consumption: In-room dining for two people is about USD 100 (including a large steak). The dining price varies from person to person, and the accommodation price varies depending on the membership level and room type. 💗Other tips: Jakarta is not a traditional tourist city and is mostly used as a transit point. If you are traveling to Indonesia, you can stay here for a short time to experience the hotel. The next day, you can go to JW Marriott Surabaya and start your Bromo volcano climbing trip.

#indonesiatrip Senayan Park in Jakarta has the best viewing spot for those who wants to have a bird eye view of the city’s skyscrapers. The spot is not crowded and best taken from the top of the building. Particularly loved the lust green cafe by the side of the lake and enjoyed a cup of latte. The night view is even grand with the whole city illuminated up with golden bright lights.

The restaurant hall is large enough to accommodate every patron and the buffet spread offers a variety of cuisines including Indonesian, Japanese and Western dishes. Everything that was served on the counter was delicious that we kept going back for more. Breads and desserts were equally tempting. I booked the hotel room include breakfast in Kempinski Hotel Jakarta as I already know that the buffet will be quoted fancy and has a lot of menu. They serve a lot of both traditional, Asian food and even western food provided. This is unusual as I had sushi and onigiri for my breakfast haha. But since they are serving it, I won't take any regret not to eating sushi by the reputable chef. They also provide fresh fruit juice. This is the best! No doubt for the quality of service. They are all excellent and you will be in the right hand for asking assistance. This coffee shop is located across from Theresia Church. The ambiance is quite cozy and the atmosphere is fairly calm. There are power outlets available, so it's suitable for working on a laptop. Apart from coffee and non-coffee beverages, they also serve food. One dish I tried was the "bakmi kintamani." The noodle texture was good, but the seasoning was somewhat light it's unclear if that's the intended style or not. The toppings included chicken slices, fried chicken, mustard greens, and lime, which you can mix with lime and chili paste. For drinks, I ordered the "kopi five forty," which consists of coffee, lemon, and soda. It's quite refreshing, with a stronger coffee flavor than lemon. I noticed some people buying their coffee and also purchasing siomay at the front of the coffee shop. There's just something about dining against the backdrop of city lights at night. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were simply gorgeous. As for the food, I opted for the beef carpaccio. While it was slightly firmer with a hint of frozen texture in the meat, the other ingredients on the plate complemented the dish quite well. The presentation of all the dishes was balanced, neither overwhelming nor inadequate. The service was faultless, with every staff member exuding warmth and hospitality. From the airport pick-up to my arrival at Park Hyatt Jakarta, I was greeted with excellence! The staff knew my name and wore genuine smiles - I was amazed! The spacious rooms accommodated my request for a quiet, non-train track view, which I appreciated as a light sleeper. Although the absence of Le Labo products was a minor disappointment, the front desk and housekeeping quickly resolved it with remarkable efficiency. The outdoor-indoor pool was an oasis of relaxation with its temperature-controlled setting. The views of the city, both day and night, offered a blissful escape from Jakarta's hustle and bustle. particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Sarawsti kindly guided me through the facilities, providing insightful explanations about the changing room and gym amenities. The aesthetically pleasing breakfast delighted my eyes and tasted good. The service was genuine, and the food was satisfying. Dinner at The Dining Room was also quite good. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional service, surpassing any other hotel l've experienced, not only in Jakarta but in my travels.
