The drive gives you the very best views of the California coast. For a fee of $11 the drive takes you around the Monterey Peninsula. The fee allows you to go as often as you like on that day and we took full advantage of that. The scenery is truly spectacular. Follow the red dashed path and see stunning shorelines, birds, gold courses and phenomenal mansions. You do not want to rush this drive, take the time to stop and take it all in. We caught the sunset at the Lone Cypress; AMAZING!! Highly recommend and would do this drive again. 17 mile Drive probably is the most beautiful coastal Drive in California. I totally enjoyed the drive on a stormy rainy day. The scenery was fantastic, the ocean was wild and powerful. Most of the time we were in the car driving, hopping in and out to various lookouts and taking short walks. There are facilities like toilets at parking lots along the drive. But there aren't any places to buy snacks, so better to bring snacks and water. The power of nature is stunning and this drive is an absolute must while in Cali. We went on the 17 mile drive and made a few pit stops on our way for these views! The sea view was just out of the world. The stretch of road hugging the coastlines was really awe inspiring and everyone should experience this at least once in a lifetime! With over a dozen viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of the relentless sea, wildlife, and historical sites, it’s a refreshing treat to the eyes and soul. Remember to pack snacks and take your time to soak in the views of this famous drive that requires half a day to truly appreciate. 🐠 Monterey Bay Aquarium, 886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA An underwater world awaits at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a gift from David Packard to his daughter. It's a place where you can touch marine life and learn about the ocean's wonders. The staff are friendly and the exhibits are immersive, making it an ideal place to spend 1-3 hours, especially with kids. 🏰 Hearst Castle, 750 Hearst Castle Rd, San Simeon, CA Perched atop a hill, Hearst Castle is a testament to opulence and history. Built over 28 years, this sprawling estate blends European and Mediterranean architecture with a vast collection of antiques and artworks. Take a guided tour to experience the grandeur of this 20th-century marvel, which is well worth the 2-3 hours visit. Beautiful 5 star experience. The resort is located on a golf course and on the water. Every evening, a bagpiper wanders throughout the property, playing his bagpipes come rain or shine. It makes you feel like you are in Scotland or some other fascinating place. There is a nice outdoor area with several fire pits for everyone to hang out. Even though there is no snow, it feels like skiing. Roy's Restaurant is a personal favorite, as is Sticks. Both have amazing views! There are also two other restaurants, so you won't go hungry. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the lobby in the morning. The promenade that starts from the golf course and along the sea offers truly spectacular views and fresh sea breezes. I believe it is one of the oldest and longest trails in the country. 17-mile drive was the site of a small Chinese fishing village in the late 1800s. You can still see centuries-old cooking smoke deposited in the rocks from the earliest settlements. It takes about 3 hours to explore the 17-Mile Drive. This is especially true if you stop to take pictures or eat along the way. You can enter 17 Mile Drive through four gates, pay a $10.50 fee and receive a map of the road's iconic landmarks.

✔️ Pebble Beach 📍 Del Monte Forest, Monterey County, California, United States of America My family and I went on a road trip in California and we embarked on the iconic 17-Mile Drive route, passing by many breathtaking scenic seaside spots! One of them was Pebble Beach, an area known for its natural beauty and stunning golf courses. The weather was quite cold when we went there so there weren’t many people, but we enjoyed soaking in the views and observing the wildlife. Be sure to snap a photo with the famous Lone Cypress, a tree that has flourished on a rock cliff that protrudes along the Californian coastline! The Big Sur section of the Big Sur on the No. 1 road, the bridge was repaired. The blue of the Pacific Ocean is not seen on the right side of the road. Meet all kinds of elves, can't wait to tell you how beautiful the two beaches are 17 miles, Bird Rock Vista Point seals and seabirds in the middle of the sea Lazy to the sun. Preiffer Beach, the only purple beach on the planet, is a small fortunate to go back and obey.
