My first trip to Ho Chi Minh City. I had two and a half days there, so I enjoyed it thoroughly. I departed from Kansai Airport on Friday morning and arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. My flight was delayed by an hour. Immigration at Ho Chi Minh Airport was reported to be very crowded, so I bought a fast pass. However, I didn't feel like I got a good deal when entering the country.💦 I took a reserved taxi from the airport to the hotel. This time I stayed at Hotel Nikko Saigon. It's far from the city center, but I didn't mind it. I was greeted by a downpour, but after that it didn't rain once, the humidity was low, and there was a breeze, so it was comfortable. On the first day, I lazed around the hotel and walked to the foot nail salon I had reserved. On the second day, I relaxed in the hotel pool and then left a little early to wander around the city because I had booked a Thai massage in the afternoon. After that, I had dinner at Banh Mi and walked to Takashimaya. On my last day, I got ripped off at Ben Thanh Market, but I ended up buying three pairs of linen-like pants. I think they cost twice as much because I didn't bargain. There wasn't much else to see, so I ended up going back to the hotel and lounging around by the pool. Finally, I had a good spa treatment at the hotel and headed to the airport without makeup. It was a late-night flight, but there were quite a few people at the airport. Unlike the entry pass, the exit pass was really fast! It was worth the money. The flight was about five hours, and prices were cheap and Grab was working, so it was comfortable.
