It was so nice trip my kids enjoyed it so much and it was so unforgettable experience. They also had so much parking and it’s so enjoyable for adult as well.

#ShizuokaTrip A huge park facility at the foot of Mt. Fuji. It's like a nature theme park, divided into three parts: the city, the water country, and the grassland country. They regularly offer discounts on admission for adults, so it's 530 yen instead of 830 yen for adults. It's free for elementary school students and younger, so it's a very convenient price setting. There are plenty of play programs, and you can canoe and fish for rainbow trout. However, since it was Children's Day, it was already full and sold out when I entered. I wanted to interact with the animals at the ranch, but the park is huge. It's quite far away...I heard that the means of transportation are the train and the park's circular bus, but those were also full, and although the grounds are large, various things were saturated. I think I'd enjoy it more if they improved it a bit more, or if I came when there were fewer people. Next time I'd like to try more play programs.

I went to a cheesecake shop in Fuji City, where you can see the big view of Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site! This time I bought a plain cheesecake and a Shizuoka matcha cake. I'm on the highway heading to eat Sawayaka's hamburger, a Shizuoka specialty. I stopped off at the Ashigara service area for a break, and got a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji! The snowy scenery of Mt. There's a steam locomotive just a short distance from Iriyamase Station in Shizuoka Prefecture! I was a bit curious, so I got off and discovered that it used to be in operation. I was able to see a big, impressive steam locomotive at this small station. There was also a library that had been converted from a train in front of the steam locomotive. For dessert, there are yogurt, granola, panna cotta, mochi with peanut powder, and milk-flavored soft-serve ice cream. The food is delicious and worth the price. Just add a little more than the convenience store's lunch box and you can eat everything in one place. Open 2 times: noon and evening. The owner, the grandmother, is very cute and explains every dish. I would like anyone who comes to visit Fuji to try to stop by and eat. You can walk from Kawaguchiko Station. 📅 Itinerary: Fuji Lake Day 1 We kicked off our first day chasing Mount Fuji with loads of luck—and yes, we saw the full view of Fuji-san, clear as day! 🌞⛰️ We visited all the lakes around Fuji, and each one had its own unique charm. Stopped by a mart and spotted Levi’s beer (yes, that Levi) — couldn’t resist grabbing a can. 🍺👀 After completing our lake tour, we headed to a tea plantation that also offers a view of Mount Fuji. The scenery was absolutely stunning — even if Fuji appeared faint in our camera shots, it was breathtaking in person. This spot isn’t super well-known yet, so it still feels like a hidden gem. 🍃🗻 All in all, it was such a fulfilling and unforgettable day! 📌 Tip: The green tea shop near the entrance is a must. Trust me, you’ll want to hang around a while 😋🍵

It really took a lot of effort, but I made it from Haneda to Fuji, NISHIMURA hotel. Of course, I messed up with suica because it wasn’t working on the exit and there was no staff but we fixed it in the next morning. Gakunan line (small electric train line, only like 9km) is a gem: you can ride around Fuji in an authentic old train. Had to take it for the hotel (still 20min walk from station). Totally worth it.

#ThailandFlightEvent Review of Karaage at Fujinomiya Restaurant Hermitage I ate Karaage at a cute restaurant called Hermitage in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka. It was a quiet and neat restaurant that seemed to be frequented by locals, and the interior was neat and warm. The Karaage had a thin and crispy batter while the inside was moist, and I was amazed as soon as I took a bite. It was not oily and had just the right amount of seasoning, so it was perfect to eat with rice, and the small salad and soup that came with it were also carefully made. It's a little far from the tourist spots, but if you want to have a quiet meal in Fujinomiya, this is a hidden restaurant that I recommend.
