Seokmun Park, located in Gangjin, Jeollanam-do, is said to be visited by many people because it has the longest cloud bridge (Love + Cloud Bridge) in Korea. It was thrilling and dizzying to cross the cloud bridge because it was shaking, but it was a really fun experience. We went there during the day, but the sunset is really beautiful. The drive to the cafe was really pretty, and the sea and the walking path across from the cafe seemed like the famous Goblin filming site, but Yunseul, full of sunlight, is the real highlight! The cafe is on the 3rd floor, so it was fun to climb up the stairs, and the view is good because it's high. First, when you arrive, I recommend experiencing the swing in the garden before entering the cafe. That way, you can feel the afterglow of the swing shot, and it will be easier to climb to the 3rd floor? 😂 The owner's sense told us not to sit in this photo zone, which is open to everyone! However, since it's kept natural, it's hard to park right next to the site, and you have to park in the parking lot and bring your luggage. Since the sites are very, very close together, you can hear every rustling sound, so if you meet the wrong people, you might not be able to sleep all night… .. It’s got that small-town charm where everyone seems to know each other, and life moves at a slower, way-more-relaxing pace. There’s a mix of old-school shops, cute cafés, and random little finds (I saw a store that sold only socks?? Iconic). I grabbed a coffee from a cozy spot tucked behind a bookstore and just people-watched for a bit. Zero regrets. The streets are clean, the signs are colorful, and there’s a surprising amount of street art and ceramics nods scattered around, which makes sense, because Gangjin is famous for its celadon. Didn’t expect to learn anything on my stroll, but here we are. If you’re looking for a peaceful break from big-city chaos, Gangjin city center is perfect. Just walk, snack, repeat. It’s the definition of slow travel, and I’m here for it.

#summervacay Alright, Deokryongsan might not be one of the big-name mountains, but that’s kinda what makes it awesome. If you're looking to dodge the crowds and just get lost in some seriously peaceful nature, this place delivers. The trail starts out mellow, winding through quiet forest paths, and then slowly hits you with those sneaky inclines that get your legs working. What really surprised me? The views. Once you get up there, it’s this wide open, panoramic scene of rolling hills and misty peaks that feels way more dramatic than expected. Plus, the air up there? Crisp and clean, total brain detox. Didn’t see a ton of people, which made the whole thing feel like a personal adventure. Great mix of chill and challenge. You don’t need pro gear, just decent shoes, snacks, and maybe a hoodie for the breeze at the top. Low-key loved it. Deokryongsan might not be famous, but it’s got that quiet magic. Would defs go back for the zen.

Upon arriving at Baekryeonsa Temple on a snowy day, I was immediately enveloped by the stillness and fresh air that can only be felt deep in the mountains. The sound of footsteps on the snow was the only thing breaking the silence, while the snow piled on the temple's tranquil structures added an air of mystique to the atmosphere. From afar, the temple roofs and surrounding forest appeared like a picturesque painting, and as I walked through the temple grounds, my mind naturally became calm and peaceful. Especially on snowy days, visitors are rare, allowing for a truly immersive experience with nature, architecture, and history. Baekryeonsa Temple may offer different charms depending on the season, but its winter scenery is truly special. It’s one of the best places to quietly reflect and reconnect with oneself.

It's just a flower palace. You should definitely go there before the azaleas fall.

First, the soft bossam melted in my mouth, and the taste became even richer when I ate it with the vegetables, garlic, and peppers that came with it. 🍖 The richness of the bossam and the freshness of the vegetables perfectly blended together, making it really delicious. Next, I had some refreshing and clean janchi noodles, and the broth was rich and light, so it went well with the bossam. 🍜 The chewy texture of the noodles was also really good, and I ended up drinking all the broth. After the meal, it was sweet dessert time! 🍧 The shaved ice was soft and fine ice with various toppings, so I could enjoy the taste and the visual.
