Kyoto is simply serene, relaxing and beautiful... a place where one could just escape to... from city life... to get into a really slow pace. Only managed a half day trip this round from Osaka and only managed to cover Higashiyama by walk. There are so many other wonderful places to discover! Will definitely plan another trip to return to this beautiful place (hopefully soon) and to explore so many other areas the next round! Will be back!!!
