20 kilometers away from the county town of Huize, there is a historical and cultural ancient village called Baifu Village (named after the frequent fog due to its location surrounded by mountains). Baifu Village was a military and commercial post station during the Western Han Dynasty. Since the Ming Dynasty, nearby copper mines began to be developed, and Beifu Village became a major station for transporting copper from the south to the north and the main supply area for copper materials, earning the title of 'the first station of the thousand-mile capital transport.' Dahai Caoshan is a hidden gem of qujing, yunnan. It has amazing lush green meadows, cattle, sheeps, lake, blue sky, white clouds, cool breeze . We are lucky to have a sunny day but still the wind is very cold even in August. There was no entrance fee to the scenic spot in august. We only paid for the shuttle car 10 yuan one way.
