What’s the best definition of a Valentine treat? It’s living in a villa right above the opaque, crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean. It’s spending quality time with your beloved people. It’s enjoying the ocean breeze that city life fails to offer. And it’s being upgraded to the most luxurious villa in a five-star resort. This time, it’s Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives. For my entire life, I’ve always prayed that one day I’ll be able to afford a stay in one of these villas, and God has heard my prayers. I expected a good villa, but the resort management surprised us with this upgrade. Thank you very much for this wonderful present, Grand Park Kodhipparu!

Located on the island of Kodhipparu in the North Malé Atoll, Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives is surrounded by stunning beaches and ocean views. The hotel is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, making it a convenient choice for families with children. The hotel is also just a 5-minute drive from Angsana Beach and Vabbininfaru Beach, and close to Rasfannu Beach and Villingili Public Beach, making it a great choice for a beach vacation. The hotel has 120 air-conditioned rooms, each with a minibar, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with a soaking tub. The hotel also has 3 restaurants serving international cuisine, cocktails, and barbecue. The hotel is very clean, with daily housekeeping, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff, including Chinese-speaking staff. The hotel is a great choice for snorkeling and diving. Kodhipparu Island is located in the heart of the North Malé Atoll, which is known for its rich marine life and excellent underwater environment. Snorkeling equipment is provided free of charge. The hotel also offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including a kids' club, babysitting services (for a fee), and family-themed rooms. #favouriteairline Had a wonderful time at Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives. Fantastic sunrise and sunset with great service. The water villa has a pool and you can snorkel from the back of the villa. And the snorkelling gear can be rented for free.The package we chose includes buffet breakfast and either a buffet dinner or s 3-course dinner. Would definitely recommend this place

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the breathtaking Maldives and staying at the beautiful Grand Park Kodhipparu resort. Here's a quick recap of my experience: Day 1: Arrival & Check-In The check-in process was seamless and stress-free, as we were escorted directly to our Ocean Villa upon arrival. This was a welcome touch after a long flight! The villa was pristine, with stunning views of the turquoise ocean. A unique feature was the transparent glass floor in the room, allowing us to spot vibrant blue fish swimming below at night—a magical experience. Snorkeling right off the villa was a highlight, with coral reefs and a variety of marine life to explore. Bonus: complimentary snorkeling gear provided by the resort! Day 2: Relaxation & Fun We spent the day enjoying the infinity pool, snorkeling, and the kids' club. The pool's view was mesmerizing, and the little ones loved the activities at the club. Day 3: Dolphin Adventure In the morning, we embarked on the "Lucky Dolphin" excursion, but luck wasn’t on our side as we didn’t spot any dolphins. At $315 for 2 adults and 1 child, the price felt steep. Highlights of the Resort Convenient Location: Only a 20-minute speedboat ride from the airport, with transfers aligned to our arrival and departure times. Delicious Breakfast: A wide variety of options, including fresh passion fruit and orange juices. Private Transfer: We had the entire speedboat to ourselves when leaving for the airport—a luxurious end to our stay. A Few Downsides Expensive Excursions: Prices for activities like the dolphin trip were higher compared to other resorts I’ve visited. Limited Activities: Being on a small island, the resort might feel repetitive if you stay more than 2 days. Overall, Grand Park Kodhipparu is perfect for a short, relaxing getaway with incredible views and excellent service! Would definitely recommend for couples and families seeking a serene retreat. 🏝️

- Location: Located in North Male Atoll, Maldives - Address: Kodhipparu, 08121 Maldives - How to get there: Accessible only by speedboat provided by the hotel, round trip fare is 140 USD - Features: Comprises Beach Villas, Ocean Villas, Lagoon Villas, and Reef Villas. Lagoon Villas have more beautiful sea colors but are deeper and have stronger waves, suitable only for experienced swimmers. The resort is relatively new, so the condition is good. - Rate per night: Lagoon Water Villa 480,000 KRW - Rating: 4.5/5.0 I found this place while looking for clean resorts with beautiful sea colors in the Maldives speedboat-accessible area. The hammock over the sea visible as soon as you enter the room is really a hit... The hotel is only about 5 years old, so it's clean, and it's great that both the bathroom and the room have outdoor access. The island is not very large, but it's best to move around by buggy. The all-day dining restaurant The Edge and the poolside bar Breeze, which operates from day to night, are also good. The Beach Club has a library and a gym. There is a water sports club where you can enjoy both non-motorized and motorized water sports. Highly recommended for honeymooners!!

Grand Park Maldives (also known as Grand Park) is really highly recommended to everyone! 🏖️Environment/Facilities: I have stayed in all three room types of the hotel, and my favorite is the reef pool villa. People who like snorkeling should not miss it. You can see beautiful corals and fish as soon as you enter the sea from the room. When the waves are big, you can also choose to swim in the pool in your room! ! Restaurant: Although there are only three restaurants on the island, Breeze can really hold our appetite firmly. We stayed for six nights and had seven meals at Breeze. There are dishes from all over the world, and they are not sloppy at all. They are exquisite, delicious and large in portion. Each of us can choose an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. We almost couldn't finish them every time. Not only is the food here delicious, the scenery is also great. You can eat while looking at the sea and listening to DJ music, which is relaxing and leisurely. Activities on the island: There are various activities, and there are different activities to choose from every day. There are also rainy plans, so there is nothing to complain about.

May to November is the rainy season in Maldives, but not every island or every day is rainy, and the islands in the south have less rain🌧️! Chose the six-star Kuda Huraa Island, with double A for beach and snorkeling, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Male Airport, very convenient. Booked an overwater villa, with a net bed, pool, and glass floor all included! Lying on the net bed at night watching the star-filled sky felt amazing! All the marine animals in the picture were seen at the hotel! So surprise! Spent 5 days on the island in early June, and it only rained for ten minutes on the very last day🌧️, giving us a taste of it, the rest were beautiful sunny days☀️, making our vacation super perfect! After coming back, it felt like we had experienced an incredibly wonderful dream🤩🤩

There are countries about which you can say just a little and already say a lot. Belgium - manneken pis and brussels sprouts. Thailand is all about its’ massage and white sand beaches. Singapore is the future. Italy is pasta, pizza and better not checking calories and your weight ;) But the Maldives are perfect in every meaning. This is one of the few places I always love to go back to. @grandparkkodhipparu has become one of the best places I ever been.
