Buffet-style White Strawberry Picking at Tsujiguchi Farm
Tsujiguchi Farm: A strawberry buffet farm located in Mie Prefecture, Japan 🇯🇵
During my one-year internship in Mie Prefecture, Japan 🇯🇵, I discovered a strawberry farm where you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet. The farm is clean and offers a wide variety of strawberries to choose from. I wanted to share this experience with everyone, especially for those visiting Nagoya. If you’re looking to enjoy a variety of strawberry types, you can easily travel to this location in just over an hour by train. Trust me, it’s worth it!
At Tsujiguchi Farm, you can pick and eat strawberries buffet-style, with up to 22 different varieties 🍓. The farm is located within the Aqua Ignis resort in Komono, Mie Prefecture, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and mountain views.
📍 Must-try highlight: The farm offers 22 strawberry varieties 🍓, including the rare White Strawberry, which you can pick and eat as much as you want for 40 minutes. (I ate so much during those 40 minutes that I was completely full!) When I visited, the price was 2,600 yen, which I found very reasonable considering the variety and quality of the strawberries. They were sweet, juicy, and delicious across all varieties.
Strawberry varieties available for tasting: Benihoppe, Akihime, Kaorino, Tochiotome, Moikko, Oi C Berry, Star Night, Tokun, Hoshi no Kirameki, Hoshiurara, Koiminori, Kannahime, Amaekubo, Berry Pop Suzu, Berry Pop Haruhi, Yotsuboshi, Tenshi no Ichigo, Shinku no Misusu, Pineberry, Mikunoka, Utano, Satsuma Otome.
The picking season runs from mid-December to early June (I recommend booking in advance as slots fill up quickly. When I booked, I almost missed out because of the high demand from locals 😂).
